Paldea’s pair of Pokémon that look similar to Tentacool and Tentacruel, the land-dwelling Toedscool and Toedscruel, will be making their debut in Pokémon GO later this month as part of the Adventure Week event.
Adventure Week details
From Tuesday, July 29, at 10:00 a.m. until Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time, Adventure Week will be taking place in GO and features the debut of Toedscool and Toedscruel. The following bonuses and activities will be active during the event:
- Double XP for catching Pokémon
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for two hours
- Event-themed Field Research tasks from Poké Stops
- Free Timed Research opportunity
- Optional paid Timed Research

Are you a fan of Toedscool and Toedscruel? Personally, I love them! The idea of convergent evolution is pretty cool — two species evolving in largely the same, but unrelated way, is an interesting twist to add to Pokémon.
