This April will introduce both new Pokémon forms and a Gigantamax debut! Read the details below and make sure to note the dates on your calendar if you want to participate!
Stunning Styles event details
From Thursday, April 3, at 10 a.m. to Monday, April 7, 2025, at 8 p.m. local time the Stunning Styles event will be taking place. It introduces the three Paldean Tauros forms, Combat Breed, Blaze Breed and Aqua Breed, which will be available in Raids in specific areas of the globe.
Starting with the event, the next Might and Mastery Special Research section will begin and all players will receive the ‘A Striking Shadow’ Special Research which will award Marshadow if you have not already obtained it with the paid version of the researched offered last year.

Event bonuses and activities
During the event, the following will be available:
- Double XP for catching Pokémon
- Event-themed Field Research tasks from PokéStops

Gigantamax Snorlax Max Battle Day
Gigantamax Snorlax Max Battle Day will be taking place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time. This will be the first time players have the opportunity to acquire Gigantamax Snorlax in GO.
Players can challenge it in Six-Star Max Battles during the event and there is a chance that the Snorlax you encounter after defeating it will be Shiny.
Bonuses and activites
During the event, the following will be active:
- Max Particle collection limit increased to 1,600
- All Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles
- Power Spots will refresh more frequently
- 8× Max Particles from Power Spots
- Two additional Special Trades
- 2× Max Particles from exploring (12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time)
- 1/4 adventuring distance to receive Max Particles (12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time)
- Timed Research for all players that includes Dynamax Machop (research becomes available at April 16 at 6 p.m.)
- Optional paid Event Ticket
