While things are changing behind-the-scenes with Pokémon GO, the events aren’t slowing down anytime soon. On Saturday, March, 29, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time, the Fuzzy Buddy Research Day will be taking place and focuses on four adorable bear-like Pokémon.
This event will focus on picking up Field Research tasks from PokéStops that award encounters with Teddiursa, Cubchoo, Pancham or Stufful. All four Pokémon will have an increased chance of being Shiny!
There will also be optional Paid Timed Research for purchase.

During the event, the following Pokémon will be more likely to appear:
- Sentret*
- Slakoth*
- Bidoof*
- Minccino*
- Bunnelby*
*An asterisk denotes Pokémon that may be Shiny when encountered
