While there’s a lot of focus on Pokémon Legends: Z-A since a look at the actual game was finally revealed, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet were also shown some love with new Mass Outbreaks, Tera Raid Battle events and a new Rotom Phone Case redeemable through a Mystery Gift Code!

Receive the Rotom Phone’s Scarlet Case or Violet Case
Owners of Scarlet and Violet can now redeem a Mystery Gift code to receive the Scarlet Case or Violet Case for their Rotom Phone. Each version of the game can only redeem their corresponding case.
Follow the instructions below to receive the Rotom Phone Case:
- Open ‘Poké Portal’ from Scarlet and Violet‘s menu.
- Choose ‘Mystery Gift’ option and then ‘Get With Code/Password’
- Input the code for your game version:
- Pokémon Scarlet: SB00KC0VER for the Scarlet Case
- Pokémon Violet: VB00KC0VER for the Violet Case
The code for the opposite version’s phone case will not be able to be redeemed. No expiration date has been shared for this distribution.
Enjoy a month of Mass Outbreaks
From Thursday, February 27 at 6 p.m. CST until Thursday, March 20 at 6:59 p.m. CST in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, there will be Mass Outbreaks of red, blue and green Pokémon to celebrate the original release of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green 29 years ago in Japan. The Pokémon appearing will vary by region:
Paldea
- Charcadet
- Smoliv
- Finizen
Kitakami
- Applin
- Sewaddle
- Poliwag
Blueberry Academy
- Porygon
- Scyther
- Lapras
These Pokémon have an increased chance of being Shiny in Mass Outbreaks!
Here at PokéJungle, we’re obviously thrilled to see Sewaddle included in the Pokémon Day celebrations!
Tera Raid battles
Players can challenge Meowscarada, Skeledirge, and Quaquaval at black Tera Raid crystals during specific times in Scarlet and Violet. They have the Mightiest Mark and will only be able to be caught once per save file. Players can challenge them again for additional rewards, however.
- Grass–Tera Type Meowscarada will appear from Thursday, February 27 at 6 CST until Thursday, March 6 at 5:59 p.m. CST
- Fire–Tera Type Skeledirge will appear from Thursday, March 6 at 6 CST until Thursday, March 13 at 5:59 p.m. CST
- Water–Tera Type Quaquaval will appear from Thursday, March 13 at 6 CST until Thursday, March 20 at 5:59 p.m. CST
Future Tera Raid Battle events were also previewed during the Pokémon Presents.
