Game Freak’s mobile gacha game getting an English release

Game Freak, the developers of the main Pokémon games, released a mobile free-to-play “casual RPG” last year for iOS and Android in Japan called PANDOLAND and soon Western audiences will also get to play!

The game features blocky graphics reminiscent of another Game Freak-developed mobile title, Pokémon Quest. But this game is completely separate from Pokémon and instead tasks players with exploring and battling in a fantasy setting with a crew of unique characters. These characters can be obtained through the game’s gacha system.

It currently has a release date of April 21, 2025, listed on Apple’s App Store. You can pre-register for the game on your preferred mobile platform with the links below:

Pre-registering will give players in-game currency for 100 character pulls.
