The new digital trading card game Pokémon TCG Pocket has announced its first new card expansion since its launch on October 30. Called Mythical Island, it will feature many new cards, including for the Mythical Pokémon Mew, and collection accessories, such as a binder and digital display board cover, featuring an island motif. The new expansion will launch on December 17, 2024 and a trailer for it can be seen below.
Starting on December 24 there will be a special holiday countdown campaign which will offer free in-game gifts for trainers.
The Pokémon Company International has also announced that Pocket has been downloaded a total of 60 million times globally on iOS and Android.
