The latest Pokémon TCG Scarlet & Violet expansion has been announced, Surging Sparks! Read below for what fans can expect when it launches on November 8.
According to the official press release, the set includes:
- Eight ACE SPEC cards
- Eight Stellar Tera Pokémon ex and nine Tera Pokémon ex
- 23 illustration rare Pokémon
- 11 special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards
- Six hyper rare gold etched cards
The expansion is themed around the Terarium, a location players explored in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
For those looking to pre-order, the expansion should start appearing on retailer websites soon and is currently available at the Pokémon Center.

Along with 10-card booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes (ETBs) will also be available in regular and Pokémon Center editions. The latter includes two additional Booster packs and an additional promo card with the Pokémon Center logo. In the gallery above, the Pokémon Center ETB contents are featured.
Grand Adventure Collection
In addition, the anime-inspired Pokémon TCG: Grand Adventure Collection box set will be releasing on November 15 and features an oversized “Terapagos & Friends” card, along with Sprigatito and Fuecoco cards featuring artwork with Liko and Roy, respectively.
