It’s October and Halloween is just around the corner! So, what better time is there for the Pokémon Company to tease (and reveal?) a new Ghost-type Pokémon from the Paldea region in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
The Official Pokémon social channels recently uploaded a teaser video featuring footage of a Paldean explorer being teased by Ghost-type Pokémon. In true Pokémon style, we’ll be getting a full premiere of the footage and maybe a new Pokémon reveal later today!

New Details:
- A dog-like Ghost-type Pokémon has been seen in the trailer! No name or official art has been released yet
- New Pokémon is known as Greavard and it is a pure Ghost-type Pokémon with the ability Pickup. It has been added to our ‘New Pokémon’ page for Scarlet and Violet
