It’s that day of the month we’ve all been waiting for – Pokémon news drop day! It was previously announced that new information for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will be released today. As soon as the information is available we will update and include a breakdown below.

New information revealed in the trailer
- Farigiraf revealed, a new Normal/Psychic Pokémon. Can be caught with one of two new abilities:
- Cud Chew, which will activate a berry a second time at the end of its turn if it was used at the beginning.
- Armor Tail, which blocks the opposing Pokémon from using priority moves.
- Picnics allow you to take a rest with your Pokémon and the Legendary Pokémon that is accompanying you, either Koraidon or Miraidon.
- During a picnic, you can make sandwiches that have various effects and are also ranked on how well they’re made
- Pokémon can be interacted with or have toys used with them
- You can take pictures of your rest
- Players can wash their Pokémon
- Multiple players can enjoy a Picnic together
- You may find Pokémon Eggs during a Picnic
- The TM Machine, which was shown at a Pokémon Center stop, can be used to create new TMs with League Points (LP) and materials dropped by wild Pokémon
- Three other new Pokémon seemed to be teased in the game’s mini-map during the trailer as well: a mouse-like Pokémon, parrot-like Pokémon and a weird blocky mushroom-like Pokémon
