The 2022 Pokémon World Championships are kicking off today in London, England, with the first battles taking part today for VGC, TCG, Unite and GO.
We’ve already had a few new bits of information dropped about different games and services in the Pokémon universe, and here’s a summary of what we’ve got so far:
- Pokémon Masters EX – Ash and Pikachu will appear as Sync Pair, with the Trainer Lodge avaialble from August 25th:
- Pokémon Unite – Theia Sky Ruins will be added as a new map, available from September 2nd:
- Pokémon Scarlet & Violet – new information will drop for the games on Sunday during the closing ceremony!
- TCG – updates will also follow in the closing ceremony on Sunday
- Pokémon Sword & Shield – use the code W0RLD22V1CT0RY to get download an exclusive World Championship Victni
