While we knew there was going to be a new online anime mini-series featuring Pokémon Legends: Arceus‘ Hisui region, but no further details were released when it was announced.
Today it was revealed that it will be called Hisuian Snow and the story will be told throughout three episodes. It will premiere on May 18, 2022 and can be watched on Pokémon’s official YouTube channel or the Pokémon TV app.
Hisuian Snow plot
Pokémon: Hisuian Snow is a story that takes place during this ancient age when the relationship between people and Pokémon was very different. Aboard a boat bound for the Hisui region, the protagonist Alec reminisces about the first time his father took him there. Over the span of three episodes, “Pokémon: Hisuian Snow” will go into detail about Alec’s stories from the past. – Official description
The series focuses on a young man named Alec and his father, in addition to a Hisuian Zorua. Alec is studying to be a doctor and used to be an adventurous and mischievous child, while Alec’s father is a woodworker who moved to Hisui for materials. His father does not have a positive view of Pokémon because of a past incident.
