RUMOR: Pokémon fansite claims Diamond and Pearl remakes coming this year

RUMOR WARNING: This post is to discuss a current rumor in the Pokémon community and should not be treated as factual information. Read and take with a grain of salt, please.

The South American Pokémon fansite Centro Pokémon claims that Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl remakes will be revealed in February and be released later this year. They state that the games will feature gameplay based on the main series rather than the 2018 titles Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!

This year is the Pokémon series’ 25th anniversary, but it is also 15 years from when the original Diamond and Pearl were first released in Japan. Although there’s no official confirmation that the games will debut, fans have speculated that the timing makes it a good point to release remakes. In fact, one of our latest articles also discussed the possibility.

If they do get remakes, what features, Pokémon or characters do you hope to see? Let us know in the comments or on our Discord server!
