Zarude’s signature move revealed with new art, screenshots

New information about Zarude, the new Mythical Pokémon starring in the upcoming movie Koko, has been revealed. Jungle Healing is a signature move it will learn at level 90 which heals itself and its allies, as well as curing any status conditions.

Art for Zarude's signature move Jungle Healing

The Pokémon wraps its vines around trees, absorbs their energy, and then releases that energy combined with its own. Healing power radiates around the area and heals both Zarude and its ally Pokémon—restoring their HP and curing them of any status conditions.

Screenshots of the move in action have also been released:

  1. The last thing I want to see on this savage simian is a freaking healing move

I wanted a badass “Jungle Lashing” Attack where it extends its vines and absolutely decimates whatever unfortunate soul is in its way

  3. I have to say, I’m surprised Zarude’s signature move is a healing one. I expected some kind of attack. But again, it’s possible for a Pokémon to have more than one signature move, so who knows?

I wonder if this Jungle Healing is what’s supposed to make Zarude powerful. The fact it also heals status conditions means no one can rely on status moves to take Zarude down. If you combine that with strong attack stats, Zarude is going to be a freaking savage.

Also, the move heals any Zarude ally, so you basically can not easily take down even its allies in a double battle. What a cannon.

  4. Pretty OP move, specially if Zarude is allowed into VGC, I would love to have that thing on my Rain team as Status effects are my bane.

  5. Persona 4 Golden came with a bunch of costumes included, it came out years after the original, was on a different system and costed 40 dollars.

Persona 5 Royal came out 2 years after the original, full price 60 dollars, another 60 dollars of Day one DLC, none of the costumes are included in the base game you have to buy all of them and Atlus also feels like they can dictate how you can Stream it. What complete tools, that SEGA buyout really made them a bunch of penny pinchers.

    • Some people were saying that ATLUS should handle the Pokemon games instead of Gamefreak, but imagine the shitshow they would make if all the clothing options in the game were individual 10 dollar purchases. Some people are bursting a hemorroid for a 30 dollar expansion but imagine if the game had come out with 60 dollar of DLC on Day one, all of which was nothing but clothes and some Pokemon.
