Pokémon Red, Green, and Blue were released in 1998 and Pokémon Yellow released in 1998 (Rated E from ESRB). The games were played on the Gameboy and were added to the Virtual Console on the 3ds. This game was the first Pokémon game created starting off in the Kanto Region.
