It’s time to get ready for some serious Pokémon GO sessions, because there are two special shiny Pokémon you’ll be able to hunt for soon!
UPDATE: Shiny Lapras has also gone live, although we don’t currently expect increased spawn rates.
First, to celebrate the Safari Zone event in Singapore, Shuckle will be spawning at a higher rate than normal from April 20 (6 a.m.) to April 21 (10 p.m.). This takes place according to your local time zone, so no need for any converting. This will be our first chance at catching Shiny Shuckle, so keep your eyes peeled!
The second shiny Pokémon coming (back) to GO is Meltan! Players will have a limited time to find Shiny Meltan from their mysterious box when unlocked from Let’s Go!—plus it’s cooldown has been reduced to just 3 days for the event! This will take place from Wednesday, April 24, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7) until Sunday, May 5, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7). Remember to confirm these times with your local time zone, unlike with the Shuckle spawn.
Let us know which you’re more excited for and whether or not you already snagged a Shiny Meltan the first time around!
