The eight generation of Pokémon has just been officially announced for Nintendo Switch! The pair of games will be called Pokémon Sword and Shield.
The games will be set in the Galar Region and feature three new starting Pokémon for trainers to choose from. They are Grookey, a Grass-type, Scorbunny, a Fire-type, and Sobble, a Water-type.
Sword and Shield return to the Gym based system of past games and task a trainer to rise to the position of Champion. The games will be released in Winter 2019.
