  1. Congrats to the giveaway winners btw, and I hope everyone had a happy new year! I did… until the day after that is ._.

Anyway, question thing to bring in some convo. If you were a Pokemon, what Pokemon would you be?

Hard mode: What Pokemon would at least three of your family members be?
Harder mode: Same as above, but they must all be from the same evo line (counting branched evo lines)

  3. I knew I wouldn’t win, ah well. I might if I can get the Midday one for myself anyway tbh.

The art is good, a shame there’s only 2 but quality over quantity I guess. I basically chickened out of doing one because whilst I can picture exactly what I want to do I can never get it out on the page anything like it. I know I need to practice more, I just have no confidence and really didn’t want to showcase my lack of ability.

Hope everyone’s year is going well so far, I’m sick again myself. I did manage to see The Last Jedi again today though. I realise whilst I really like it there’s definitely some issues, but also things I appreciated much more this time around.

  6. Hey guys… Why does Wobbufet have to be such a risk to use

You need it to be always slower than your foe and you gotta hit the foe with encore and hope it was actually using an attack and not a status move. And even after that its still not a cake walk to fight with

  7. Lookin through 4chan game pair names. Sugar and spice came up as a name and a person mentioned how everything nice was too long of a name for a third game

  9. I know I keep talking about the Nintendo Direct, but here are my hopes and dreams for the Nintendo Direct with a dash of reason and logic thrown in:
    Thursday, January 11
    Switch:
    -Pikmin 4 (Summer)
    -Animal Crossing (Early Fall)
-Kirby Star Allies (April) with light pink Joy-Con
-Yoshi full title (June/July) with light green Joy-Con
-Lots of indies and third party stuff
-Super Mario Odyssey: Isle Delfino DLC with Super Luigi Odyssey campaign
-Random new IP that looks good coming out way sooner than expected (March)
-Ends with Smash Bros for Switch logo (more details at E3)
    3DS:
    -Wario Land (late 2018)
-new 2D Zelda game (May) with limited edition gold New 2DS XL
    -localizing some useless eShop stuff
    -that’s it

      • I’d like to see some kind of Link’s Awakening successor or reimagining on Switch before the next big 3D Zelda. I just feel like it’s the only kind of story and world that would really fit the system and the post-BotW world we live in. And I could totally see Paper Mario at E3 considering how they announced Kirby and Yoshi last year. It’s cool that after this Direct we’ll be able to predict Nintendo’s 2019, which sounds nuts to me.

  10. “Within Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, visiting the Game Freak building with Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Gold and Silver has a non-player character relate how they were having trouble getting data onto the Game Boy Color game cards until they were helped by an “amazing guy”; this acknowledges Iwata’s contribution to Gold and Silver that allowed them to include the whole of the world from Pokémon Red and Blue without compromising the size of the Gold/Silver world.”

    How did I miss this?!
