Guzma & Pikachu Face-Off in Epic Dance Battle

A new live-action commercial has been released for the upcoming Pokémon TCG expansion Burning Shadows and it pits infamous Team Skull and its leader Guzma against a team of Pikachus in a dance battle to end all dance battles.

Whose side are YOU on? I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing more of this creative type of marketing!

  1. Well that was incredibly weak…………The Pikachu were clearly the more likable characters and I’m not sure I liked the faces of the guy and girl who played Guzma and Plumeria. Sometimes the face just doesn’t match the character.

  2. I have a couple questions for you guys:

What starter should I get in Ultra Sun?
What starter should I get in Ultra Moon?

  3. So I’m almost done with my sex in sun and moon, but I’m wondering, does finishing the 4 island dexes count for the shiny charm or do I have to get more? I’m currently missing only the tapus from each island

  4. Ok I’ve just thought of something they can add to the main games.
It’s wierd but I think it would be interesting .
And that is the character can faint just like the mons.
Not always like say you’re in a volcano or you fall of a cliff or something.
It would add to the realism!

  5. Where is everyone? I’m super bored being here all alone…

I’m having thoughts to switch Golisopod for something else Water type in USUM, but Idk I feel bad not using one in Moon

And other than only using 5 Full fledged team mate’s I don’t regret my Moon team (I only regret what I took off it)

  7. So I have a preliminary team for USUM that I’ll want to use. I made this team more or less prior to me bringing my Yellow team over to Sun so I kind of forgot I used a Pikachu in Yellow when I was thinking. I think I’ll prolly get rid of AlolRaichu since I’ve used Pikachu already now and I’m not sure I want it again as a repeat. That said what do you guys think I should replace Raichu with? Assuming we don’t actually get any new Alolan forms (which I still doubt) I’m not sure what Pokemon would best fill in or at the very least which one I’d like to fill the spot. I think the electric typing is less important as I will already have Pokemon on the team to take out what it’s good against anyway so I’d need maybe something psychic…..Just not sure yet. I kind of hope they reveal some new Alolan forms soon as I really want to know how much my team would change with the new additions https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/411d46266dfa6f8193bd5d89b0a63739da07df45e9ac321caa55b264abe9d8f7.png

    • Maybe Alolan Muk? Psychic you are limited to Oricorio if you don’t want type overlap and only want to use gen 7/ Alolan forms.

      Reply
      • Doesn’t really matter if I over lap given the 2 ghost types lol And it doesn’t necessarily HAVE to be only new mons and forms. Just how it went down

        Reply
        • True. Other Psychic types you can use then: Oranguru, Bruxish, Slowbro, Slowking, Alakazam, Hypno, Reuniclus, Gothitelle, Metagross and Starmie. Of course that’s just the non-lengendary ‘mon available in SM, who knows what might change of those except the first 2 should definitely be in.

Either a Bug/Psychic Spider like creature that subdues larger stronger Pokemon in powerful energized threads and control them like a puppet

    Sylkommand
    Puppeteer Pkm
    Bug/Psychic
Psychic Bond (divides and redistributes incoming damage to ally)
A tiny spherical arachnid Pokemon with a black purple body, it has four pink eyes on its forehead and red Harlequin like markings on its mouth, and three elongated growths on its head that resembles a jester cap, it’s eight legs are extremely long and thicker than its body, they have stripes of red white and black and a bulb at their ends which is where it produces its psychic silk
“These wicked Pokemon impose their will onto stronger hosts, wrapping them in a thread of psychic energy to control their every action”

They learn the dangerous Soul Link attack

    Soul Link
    Psychic
    Status
The users coats the opponent with psychic silk, the opponent takes damage every time the user is damaged for 5 turns

      • Imagine a jester like spider Pokemon hanging from the ceiling of a cave or a high tree branch with four of its legs while its other four dangle free and release a glowing pink thread and binds the arms and legs of a wild Aggron or somethings big and strong and force it to pummel prey for it and drag it back to its lair to feasts, and when the host grows too weary or old it simply kills it off

        Reply
        • Maybe it could have a move where it controls an opponents pokemon and brings it to your side until it breaks free or is knocked out and it also doubles as a free substitute Sylkommand loses control. Example Sylkommand used “puppeteer , gained control of trainers Aggron”. Maybe a move like this would be too broken lol but I think but would fit a Pokemon like Sylkommand.

          Reply
          • That would be extremely hard to incorporate into competitive and in game play
So I make it so it passes damage to its hosts and subordinates

    • Competitively it is a gigantic c*nt that basically weasels out of punishment by foisting it onto its opponent and “teammates”

Very high health and mild defenses and comes equipped with

      Reflect and Safeguard
      Heal Pulse
      Sticky Web
      Mean Look
      Taunt
      Signal Beam
      Teeter Dance
      Psyshock

  13. So I’m really curious as to what the white silhouette Pokemon is. Obviously it’s Necrozma, but to what end and does that then mean we get 3 Necrozma forms? Or at the very least 3 forms that involve Necrozma? That’s actually something new I don’t think they’ve ever done. (minus the ORAS trio since that’s a remake anyway) Clearly they’ve done new forms for the 3rd legends before and with BW Kyurem they’ve done two forms, but they’ve never done 3 different forms in one 3rd version game. This is like if Kyurem had both of it’s other fusion forms, but then also had one where it had a form on its own. It seems weird to me. Regardless of how this game actually turns out the fact that we have 3 new forms for the legends is still intriguing.

      • Yeah I can dig that. It’s an interesting thing and if it’s a main story part then yeah it’d be cool to find out for ourselves. That said I doubt they’ll let that happen lol

        • Yeah, I’ll probably have to see something of it before but I’ll try to stay away from as much of the story elements as possible.

  18. Does anyone feel like Shadow Punch should get more BP? Like it’s pretty underwhelming for physical Ghost Pokemon like Dusknoir and Golurk (though Shadow Punch gets boosted by Iron Fist) for that to be their strongest physical Ghost move.

    Reply
    • Shadow Claw (base 70) is the strongest single turn non-signature physical Ghost move. Shadow Punch is a ‘never miss’ move. Shadow Force (base 120, 2-turn) is the strongest, followed by Spectral Thief (base 90) and Phantom Force (base 90, 2-turn), then Shadow Bone (base 85), then Spirit Shackle (base 80), then Shadow Claw and finally Shadow Punch, that’s all the 60 base attack power and above. A move that is commonly distributed and base 80 like Shadow Ball would be good.

I suppose I should get back around to playing Moon, but I’ve already missed playing so much ARMS and Splatoon 2 that I’m starting to feel bad about it. I guess the only way to fix this is to just start again. Also, NO more news or anything lately? This is starting to become depressing.

It looks to be pretty much everything I wanted from the first Battlefront reboot. Skyrim for Switch gets an honorable mention, but we don’t have a release date for it anyway
    1) Battlefront II
    2) Mario Odyssey
    3) Lego Marvel Superheroes

Sad USUM doesn’t even make my top 3.

  29. So with new exclusive Z moves being in USUM, come up with a z move for a Pokemon you get in the Pokemon Random Generator (if a Pokemkn that already has one, you can choose again or make another z-move for it):
    http://randompokemon.com

So for example, I got Probopass:
    Magnetic Mayhem
    Probonium Z
    Base Move: Iron Head
    Power:
In Action: Probopass sends its Mini-Heads at the opponent, smashing them with intense magnetic forces propelling them. After a barrage of the Mini-Heads striking the opponent, one final Mini-Head slams the opponent upwards. The Mini-Heads then plant on the ground, drawing in a powerful magnetic force to the ground. Above the opponent, the main body of Probopass waits, when it shuts its hat-like magnetic, closing its eyes. The hat magnetic propels a powerful magnetic force downwards, while the Mini-Heads at the bottom attract a strong force (powerful enough to starting splitting the ground) that also pushes the main head down. The target is slammed by the main body of Probopass, and the main body strikes the ground with devastating results, with the ground splitting and bursting up.
Effects: Removes all Entry hazards and also gives the Magnet Rise effect for 8 turns.

    • I watched up until I think Wild Force, then skipped much and have more recently watched Dino Thunder and RPM.
I think my favourites were the ones before Turbo that largely included Billy (not necessarily because of him) and Time Force, but I liked most of the ones pre-Wild Force (which wasn’t that good imo) and Dino Thunder and RPM are good.

      • Wild Force was really cool from what I saw of it, but I never watched it myself. Mighty Morphin-Zeo seemed pretty good to. I’m curious, what was your first season of Power Rangers? Mine was SPD

        • Wild Force had cool stuff, the bad guys were quite good, the zords when they weren’t terrible CGi were pretty cool
Mighty Morphin was my first one, it aired later over here, though I’m not sure if I ever saw it from the beginning.

Topping (sausage, cheese, pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeno, pepper, sauces, ect)

Your Z-move thing was sooo fun I’m putting more right here for y’all because I want more

    Clawitzer
    Aqua Roulette
    For Water Pulse
It first creates a few fake targets surrounding the foe that it shoots water shots at knocking them all down, but once they are all down it shows a giant orb of Water growing at the barrel of the gun, till it fire and blows the foe away.

    Xatu
    Time bending Sight
    For Future Sight
It transforms the stage into a pinkish purple landscape and has it and the foe look into a hole at the center (showing a picture that looks like Alola) then Xatu gets behind the foe and pushes them in watching them tumble then closes the hole
    After effect: Paralyze’s the foe

    Bellossom
    Heavenly Floral Luau
    For Petal Blizzard
It creates a tiki environment around the foe then it awes the foe in a dance which it repeatedly slashes the opponent with and then jumps up and sends a barrage of flowers down crushing the foe

    Leavanny
    Silk stringing frenzy
    For X-Scissor
It shows Leavanny creating a large mass of string around the target then shows it run up and creates a cloud around then till Leavanny steps out and show cases that it made a shirt (with the foe being it the stitching) then turns and slashes the cloth open

    So thoughts?

    Do you agree with him?
I don’t only due to that Pokémon can use any Z move as long as they have the moves to correspond with tge crystal, so I believe their is still a chance he could get them

And what do you think his team will be?
I think he’ll add in this order
    Wimpod -> Golisopod
    Mudbray -> Mudsdale
    Passimian
    Sandshrew -> Sandslash (Alolan form)

RBGY is good, but worse than RS. GSC is on par with RS. FRLG awesome. Emerald isn’t that good. DPPt is really good as well, HGSS is a bit meh, BW is the best. dunno bout anything after that

        Emerald I’m not sure on
        DP… Let’s just say I’m not a fan
        Plt. Is meh
HGSS is astounding (It was awesome!)
BW I never truly read, but I read one book and it sounds petty good
XY I think was too confusing and a little stupid sounding
ORAS I never read, but read the summary and sounds interesting

So I suggest it from my prospective
