Two new themes for the Nintendo 3DS have been released, both based on last month’s hit titles Pokémon Sun & Moon. They are already available for purchase in Japan, but will soon launch in both North America and Europe.
What do you think? Enough to warrant a purchase?? I’m sure some of you may have gotten an eShop gift card or two 😉

I’ve always had a problem with Johto as you couldnt get Slugma, Houndour, Misdreavous, Sneasel or Larvitar until after the E4, and even then, some until after you’ve beaten all 16 badges!
Only Slugma there that can be found in an egg before the first gym

I have a couple of themes but the main one I use is the Steven Stone one as my 3DS theme, and Shadow the Hedgehog. i’d say its worth it since I love seeing my favorite characters when I load my system up but its different for everyone 🙂

I Just thought of something, just like we’re able to ask for a pokemon with a specific gender and level in GTS it would be nice to request wich item is holding too.
That would make trade evos much easier to get because if you want to evolve a feebas you could ask for a feebas with a scale (something easy to get) instead a Milotic (something People arent likely to trade)
Ngl, I’ve always found that if you trade away a Pokemon with its evo item on and request the evolution, you’ll get it.

Kingfisher seems like it would be Flying/Water.
Only problem with Kingfisher is that the Starter is already Water/Flying, yet the Shrew I like these ideas I may use one
Maybe Electric/Flying, with reference to how fast it beats its’ wings. Steel/Flying could work if its beak is like a fishing pike or something.

Just hatched a shiny wimpod after 304 eggs (Masuda Swap method). It is adamant with 5 ivs and a random (but very good) Defense (27 iv).
How many boxes is 304?
With the Masuda Swap it took me around one day with bunches of 30 Magikarp. So around 10 boxes

Look at the mons available from Island Scanner… a lot is Unova
Kyurem has conflicting lore and a lot seems incorrect, and the original story of it makes it sound like an ultra beast
Counter point to the island scan thing:
1. Unova had the most Pokemon, so naturally they have the most island scan.
2. Why would we need unova island scans if we could trade them over from the remake?
Not re-designing a character is more supportive of a remake imo because it’s very possible a re-design would be held off for said remake.

Kyurem doesn’t have conflicting lore. BW2 answered the truth about Kyurem rather than the BW1 folktales, unless I’m forgetting something BW2 also addressed…?
Wouldn’t it make more sense for there to be less unova Pokemon in an island scan if there was going to be a game taking place in the region in the same gen?
I honestly don’t know, I’d have to look at how many Hoenn Pokemon were available in Kalos compared to others, but then again I don’t think either case tells us much.

As a large fan of both unova and Sinnoh, I wouldn’t mind if unova came next as long as Sinnoh wasn’t neglected altogether. Like they need to make a Sinnoh remake eventually.
I honestly have no bias. I like Unova better than Sinnoh, but I still see Sinnoh remakes happening after “Stars.” Too many references in GameFreak’s way, and too much sense. Why skip a remake that’s next in line? Gonna draw unneeded negativity where there’s never been before because of the established order.

My biggest fear of this game
I fear that this giant world is just going to be too much, don’t get me wrong, I love spending hours on end just roaming game worlds and soaking up every detail, but this this may actually take the cake, I will admit the biggest open world game I’ve ever played would have to be either WOW and Fallout
And I’ve roamed every inch of the game (minus Legion I’m still getting through it) and I love this, but this….I’m honestly a little intimidated….I’m afraid that unless the story keeps you on a bit of a path you’re just going to spend so much footwork on empty areas
One thing that still rings in my mind, with the ability to climb nearly anything in a interview they claim that one could access the Final Boss, and that scares me
Personally what I’m worried about is emptiness is the world. I mean just open mountains and plains with nothing to interest people.
That being said, the thing I’m looking forward to the most is the open world, as I usually have a blast exploring.
Also, they’ve outright said that the final boss will be available near the start.

Oh there’s so much. The golf course which takes up a quarter of the island, the power plant, the 2 big resorts on Akala where only the reception floor is accessible, the lighthouse, the Malie Garden tower, 1 house in Po Town is accessible, ugh.

It’s a science flask mixed with the DNA of a few pokemon. Most importantly, a Sylveon. Due to the chemicals mixed, it made a slushy yet toxic liquid in the flask that took life in the flask. However, the sylveon dna was so strong that it took over a bit, giving it ribbons. This pokemon was created to guard its trainer, but after they gained sentience, they choose only trainers with a kind heart
Sylveon was chosen due to the affectionate behavior they have with trainers
