  1. from a sinnoh fanboy, i say this episode fit the feel of the slow pace game lol jk. it was a good episode start for the sinnoh saga of generations

  2. Honestly this episode basically came out to my thoughts on the actually games……it was fine……that’s it. Never really liked DP can’t say I ever will. I will say the part with Giratina coming out of the ground was cool, but that’s about all I thought was cool. Can’t say I hated this episode, but it certainly wasn’t the most exciting/interesting one we’ve gotten. lol

  3. SINNOH IS THE BEST REGION!! I love it’s aesthetic, I also really love this episode. People called the diamond and pearl games slow and that’s honesltynexactly why I liked them. They felt mature in some way

      • The Sinnoh legendaries, at least to me, seem the best. They’re the creators, ancient and powerful! That’s something their designs suggest too. Sinnoh is ever so slightly weird, but also creepy in general, which I really like.

  4. I put this in the last article, but I’ll put it here too:
I was kind of hoping that we would see the Lake Trio, but apparently not

  5. Question… For the special Munchlax that evolves into Snorlax with the Z Move, is it just for reserved games at like GameStop or if you pre-order it at Amazon you’ll get the code as well?

    Reply
    • I agree, I will not be swayed by fancy visuals or nostalgia boners

Nothing really happened except exchange dialogue and I guess Cyrus getting eated

      Reply
    • What? It showed cyrus trying to create a new world and then when he’s taken by giratina he realizes the world he wanted was the distortion world. It was great.

      Reply
      • Yeah he talked
Showed pictures of the galactic base
        Cynthia cameo at best
Palkia and Dialga fought for like 10 seconds
        And Giratina ate him
        End

        Worst generations episode ever

        • Lmao and that’s any different than last week’s where Cheryl just ran around a house for 5 minutes or a tv camera crew stole footage of a space battle?

          Reply
          • Oh it definitely was, but in terms of quality that we’re getting out of a 5 minute video, there’s literally no difference. They were both great

          • Haven’t seen this week’s episode yet so I won’t comment.

Besides I dunno why people are expecting actual plot from these 5 minute shorts. It’s like going to watch a Fast and Furious movie for the plot.

          • Yeah, other than th space battle, which was alright, last week’s were ok to me. However, the Chateau episode creeped me out so I kind of thought that one was alright

          • I’ve liked the recent ones a lot. The Johto and Kanto ones were meh at best to me. Not terribly exciting. I did like the one with Eusine though

      • Cyrus says generic stuff
        Dialga Palkia seen
        Giratina seen
        Cyrus in distortion world
        .. That’s it

I honestly get surprised when someone says these shorts are good. All of them suck.

        Reply
        • They are what they are, but I just don’t see how this is any better/worse than the rest. At least the acting in this one wasn’t too cringey.

          Reply
          • The other ones had some cool moments I guess, while this one had none. But yeah, the voice acting was a bit better…just by a bit.

I guess you can’t do much in 5 minutes

          • Idk, I thought where giratina actually came out of the Distortion world in a oozy shadow was kinda cool. It would’ve been nice to see a bit more of a fight between red chain dialga/palkia and Giratina though

  6. Damn. One of my favorites yet. Cyrus just makes me think of The Big Lebowski tho lol. (THICK German accent) “We are nihilists, Lebowski, we believe in noszing!”

    Reply
    • Aw, I liked the safari zone in Johto! I just don’t like the whole “flee” thing…especially if you find a shiny tangela in the safari zone and then proceed to have a panic attack (although I caught it, which was good)

  7. I’ve been waiting years to find out what became of Cyrus and now I have the answer. maybe in the remakes we can further explore the distortion world? I think that would be nice.

    Reply
    • I never got the hint that he liked the distortion world in the games, but it seems in this video that he does 😮 Also I couldn’t tell if they were trying to imply that Giratina killed him or not when he’s talking to Saturn.

      Reply
      • This short to me seemed to imply Giratina was acting benevolently for all beings involved. It was saving the normal world and giving Cyrus his nihilistic world of nothingness by kidnapping him to the distortion world. Maybe it was trying to redeem itself in the eyes of Arceus? lol

        Reply
      • I think it felt a kind of kinship with him if it was going to kill him why bother dragging him into the distortion world to begin with?

  8. Okay, this is something that my best friend and I have done, and I always find it interesting. If you were a Pokemon trainer, where would you be from (City and Region), what would your goal as a trainer be, and where would your journey have taken you to the point you’re at today?

I’d be from Castelia City in Unova (Lower Manhattan, NYC) and I’d be on a quest to be the best Ice type trainer out there. I would currently be training with Wulfric learning about Mega Evolution and the power of Ice types and mega evolving my Abomasnow before hopping on a plane to Alola to further my quest. My Partner Pokemon would be Samurott, picking Oshawott as my very first Pokemon (I can’t ever give up my starter pokemon in any version I play, they are always on my team). The other Pokemon I would have on my team prior to reaching the Alola region would be Abomasnow, Beartic, Ninetales, Umbreon and Pangoro.

    Reply
    • When the full Pokedex comes out and everything for the Alola region I’ll start building a story for that part, but until then that is where it is.

      Reply
    • Virbank City, Unova. My team is focused on Dark and Ghost types. I would be a traveling writer looking for inspiration.

My team would Incineroar( Starter, received egg from family friend breeder from Alola), Sableye, Aegislash, Zoroark, Dusknoir, and Bisharp.

      Reply
      • Nice. I’m really torn because there is the real me then there is my alter ego…. the real me is best suited to have Decidueye but I LOVE Dark types (I’ve always wanted a Fire/Dark starter, just was hoping it’d be a bear….) and my alter ego would totally have Incineroar…. My two favorite types are Ice and Dark. Maybe the more dark side can be played out in my Alola adventure… Like, I get pissed off that my Ninetales is onl;y Fire type and not Ice like the Alola ones…. And it turns my soul dark

        Reply
    • I’d be from Nimbasa City, Unova. I would have an electric type based team with either Zebstrika or Luxray as my main. The rest of my team would consist of: Vikavolt, Lanturn, Manectric and Eelectross.

I’d be childhood friends with Elesa and I’d be a trainer in her gym. We are both clothes designers and we model each others creations. We fight together and we work together.

      Reply
    • I’d be from Veilstone City, Sinnoh.
My starter pokemon would be an Eevee. I got her as a present when I was a child and she is an offspring of my Mother’s Flareon.
I’d venture out on a journey to get all the badges and win the Pokeleague.

Eevee eventually evolves into a Glaceon.

After I got all the badges, but failed in the league, I’d fly to Alola in the hopes of getting my groove back.
But instead of doing the Island Challenges, I’d try out in competitions (which in my version of the Pokeworld are present in every region, same as that presenter thing Serena did in the anime)
Always trying out new attack combinations and wanting to achieve the perfect performance, then somehow getting into the semi-finals, I’d someday catch Kalos Champ Diantha’s attention.
I would tell her my story and she’d encourage me to try out in the Kalos League.

Due to my experience as a coordinator, my fighting style has changed for the better and my pokemon can easily confuse and defeat the opponent, thanks to our unusual battle tactics.

I’d win the Kalos League, while my sister became a Fire-Type Leader in Sinnoh. Typhlosion as her main.

Always on my team would be my Glaceon.
I’d also like to have Electivire, Starmie, Tsareena, Braviary and Pyroar.

      Reply
    • This seems fun =D I’d be from Santalune City, Kalos. Gamewise, Kalos wasn’t all that fun for me because the old pokemon outnumbered the new ones, but it’d seem like the perfect place to live if the pokemon were real to catch a variety of pokemon. I’d be a pokemon breeder because I love raising pokemon from their bases to the pokemon that they have the potential to be. I think at this point, I would have seen all that Kalos can provide and would aspire to look for a different region, maybe Johto. I would love to travel with Brock and learn more about breeding. The pokemon on my team before reaching Johto: Chesnaught, Pyroar, Female Meowstic, Marowak, Mega Houndoom. Imbalanced team, but meh.

Thoughts on my prediction for Ash’s Alola team?
    Pikachu
    Decidueye
    Pikipek3
    Crabrawler
    Jangmo-o
    Mudsbray/Grubbin

    Reply
    • Based on Incineroar’s first leaked image with Ash and Mallow. I think Ash might actally have all the starters again. Mostly since I don’t see Mallow, a grass specialist, with a fire type. But, I suppose we’ll see!

      Reply
    • Pikachu
      Tookipekipeki
      Incineroar
      Dartrix
      Crabrawler
      And I guess Jangmo-o but it’s a hard stretch maybe a Rockruff

      Mallow
Bounsweet that will eventually be a Steenee
      And a Lurantis

      Sophocles
      Togedemaru
      And maybe a Charjabug

      Lillie
Alolan Vulpix and a Cosmog she keeps hidden in her room

      Kawie
      Turtonator and Marowak

      James Mimikyu/Sandygast
      Jessie Salandit

      And that’s everyone

      Reply
      • Where do people get Rockruff from? Kukui has it, they’re not going to give multiple main characters the same Pokemon

        Reply
        • They gave May a Squirtle and a Bulbasaur, Dawn had a Cynadquil, and Serena and May had an Eevee

And seeing as Ash likely won’t be with Kukui when he inevitably travels or something I don’t see why the Rockruff thing would be a problem

          Reply
          • Ash actually lives with Kukui in the anime, so in that light he’s already sort of ”connected” to a Rockruff. Honestly don’t see it happening, also because Ash only ever catched 1 Rock type. Its just not his cup of tea.

          • He’s probably going to leave at some point though

And people always say this about Ash, ‘because x barely/never/always happens’, but then it happens. For example, Ash will always have a Grass Type.. Until he doesn’t

          • Literally the only time he did not had a Grass type was in Kalos. Rowlet is also the perfect Ash Pokemon, and it even gives me a Froakie vibe. Same treatment as Greninja. But maybe I’m just hyping myself right now lol

          • No, my point is that people will always say something guaranteed to happen and then they get proven wrong

Rockruff could easily end up with ash if the writers want it to, simple as

          • Fair but there’s usually reasoning behind it is it not? You mentioned Roggenrola below, but gen 5 was a soft reboot of the franchise (or at least it was supposed to be) and they replaced every original Pokemon in gen 5. Roggenrola>Geodude, Pidove>Pidgey etc.

Ash catching Roggenrola was most likely just a nod to Brock

    • Pikachu
      Decidueye
      Toucan Sam (Pikipek’s final)
Wimpod’s Evo (Due to the trend of Ash believing in pokemon and they power up for him)
Silvadi (Same as Wimpod, Silvadis evolve when they trust their trainer enough to remove their helmet)
Crabrawler/Rockruff’s Sun Evo/Jangmo-o mid-evo/Alola Sandshrew (I doubt he’ll get this one, I just felt I should add an Alola form)

The quality of animation in these shorts is gorgeous. I truly wish the regular Pokemon anime was this mature, this masterfully executed, this much of a tribute to the games. However, since that’ll never happen…as a 20th anniversary fanservice present from the creators to us, I’m delighted with Generations.

  14. You guys! I’m not sure if this was talked about yet, but I think Salandit2 might have gender differences. Kind of like Meowstic where a few characteristics and colors vary. I was staring at the Changi Promotional event pictures via PJ’s Instagram and it hit me… that Salandit2 art looks nothing like my beautiful lizard lady! Where is the long flowing ribbons(?) and purple and hot pink pattern? Seems like the male keeps his bandana-esque detail too. I know I might sound crazy and I know I could be totally wrong… What do you guys think?

I have to go workout now. I’m hoping I’ll come back in an hour or so to find a fiery discussion! I attached a photo, so rf mobile users!

Ok so like let me rewatch this and list the perfections

    -Sinnoh
-Mars and Jupiter looking fine as hell with some great voice actors
    – Cyrus as emotionless as needed
    – Red Chain
    – CYNTHIA AAAAAAHHH
    – She dont do much but its okay
    – oh is that
    -ooohh
    – oh baby its Giratina
-AND ITS THAT INKY SLUDGE STUFF AND THEY RECREATED THAT SCENE NEARLY 1 TO 1
    – Saturn’s face
    – Ok no Giratina is totally Satan
    – They actually care about Cyrus alot, wonder if it goes both ways
    – Saturn’s voice actor was also really good
    – Gitatina is massive
    – Finally the good version. Sky Warrior’s Distortion World sucked
    – Cyrus likes the Distortion World… wonder if Giratina was trying to punish him or if it knew what he wanted and stopped the destruction of the world while still giving him what he wanted
    – Sinnoh

Like a Steel/Poison Tiger or an Electric/Grass Bat
    Something out of the ordinary
Not only Poison Snakes and Flying Birds

That’s why Decidueoyhfke (Rowlet3) is so interesting to me
It’s a bird, but not Flying Type

        • that fat rat will not be spoken in this Warlord’s presence
it totally ruined what little logic they put into Alolan forms

          Reply
          • i swear they should’ve said
in order to fulfill Alolan demands for Pikachu they brought in Pikachu to alola hoping that they would breed
they bred Pikachu with alola native pokemon and eventually they began to spread across the islands, but little did they know these Pikachu exposed to Thunderstones resulted in increased amount of electrical stimulation in the brain

i know its a mouthful but it makes much more sense then just hucking Pancakes at the fat rodent

          • upvote for that last part, made me laugh – and you are right
but you created a more or less logical base for a psychic mouse, so why is a Poison/Steel Tiger such a stretch?

          • dude its nothing but science
selective/cross breeding causing abnormal brain development
the brain is nothing but electrical pulses which an electric type itself could unlock psychic powers via over-simulation

a Poison Steel type should not be a tiger but a rust monster or a spine coated urchin with venomous barbs because those make sense

          • 1st part – true, can’t argue with that
2nd part – your ideas really do sound cool, and a logical base is perfectly fine, but why have Pokemon to always make sense?
Pikachu is a mouse, why is it not Normal type? Or ground?

Pokemon are nothing like our animals, so even a Water/Flying snake could happen. And I would love more of those crazy Pokemon

(to be honest, I really like to talk to you – as I have said yesterdy, I’m reading the comments every day, and I often wanted to say something, so this feels really special to me right now 😀 )

          • My knowledge about mice is not that great, so even if there is a logical reason for a mouse to be electric – I just want a Poison/Steel tiger, and I hope it’ll happen someday. If not, also no problem.

          • I’m sure in future gens they’ll do stuff like that. They can’t keep making animal pokemon with expected typings forever

          • (it shows)
But this is OG stuff and they were just getting started but a article states they wanted a small yellow pokemon that children would easily recognize and if you live under a rock Yellow often refers to electricity so that’s just how things come together

          • (that knowledge part was meant as a joke)
so the only logical explanation for Pikachu to be electric is the color yellow
ok, got it – you win
we’ll talk again, when there really is something like a Poison/Steel tiger
until then: logical base and science (which is also something I really appreciate, so don’t get me wrong)

          • i am saying that gamefreak wanted a Pokemon to revolve around Electricity which some eventually resulted in pikachu

          • And I get that.
But this conversation is leading nowhere.
It’s not even in our hands, so we just take what Gamefreak gives us. And that is most of the time a little bit of both – logical Pokemon and also the unusual ones.

          • Because what makes gamefreak better then any other fantasy creature game designer is that they do take the time and make Pokemon with the utmost creativity and logic behind origin almost every Pokemon has in depth reasons to why they are the way they are

To be fair we have a Water/Flying snake in the form of Gyarados (unless you were referring to it and that’s because they only had the three Dragons at the time)

  20. So i’ve been seeing a lot of requests for a Steel/Poison type and something kinda hit me
What about a blob of liquid metal or Mercury that is an enviromental disaster since they break down anything to feed on it

but my idea interludes with Alolan Grimer’s voracious appetite

  24. I wish they’d release the generations episodes with the original Japanese voices and English subs, the mediocre dubbing really lets the Generations episodes down.

    Reply
      • I’ve yet to find a dub that’s as good as a subbed version of the original of anything.

I like subs, it means you get to hear an anime as it was meant to be heard and still understand what they’re saying.

Plus a dub really falls apart when they try to translate stuff that can’t be translated, notably “itadakimasu”.

        Reply
        • Yeah “hear”
I’m not a fan of reading what they’re saying. Like, I’ll listen to a sub if the dub is complete and utter trash but I haven’t found that to be the case. I don’t watch a whole lot of anime, though.

          • It’s not hard, it’s just reading, no different to reading comments online.

Besides which, after a while you start to pick up words and phrases and it all just becomes natural.

Heck, I wouldn’t even class myself as a major anime watcher, I’ve only seen about 5-10 series.

          • I’ll take your word for it and add it to my backlog. It’s now #234 on my ‘to watch’ list…

    • The problem with that is that the company that made the GameCube games is a completely different company than GameFreak. Nintendo doesn’t have control over GF in that fashion as technically GF is a third party company. Yes they make Pokemon which is in part owned by Nintendo, but Nintendo has no control over GF other than the rights of Pokemon distribution. Thus why GF can go off and make other games for non Nintendo systems, but Pokemon can never be on any non Nintendo consoles. So no, unless GF itself openly takes on people from the company that made Gale of Darkness that kind of collaboration would never happen.

      Reply
      • Gamefreak was responsible for the development of the console games before Nintendo asked Genius Sonority to make Gale Of Darkness, so it’s not impossible.

        Reply
        • True, but GF itself would need to green-light a collaboration like that. Since they seem to be uninterested in console games of that fashion it’s unlikely. It’s not as simple as just having two teams come together. That said it’s not impossible either. AND with all that said (lol) I don’t think we’ll ever see another game like Colosseum or the like again. Back in the day the games like Stadium and Colosseum were meant to allow players to see Pokemon in 3D as on the handheld games they were obviously not. Now we have full 3D games in the main series so side games like those are not needed. That’s as far as the base reasoning for those games go anyway. They would need to have a different reason for making them now, such as wanting to provide a different story. Which would be cool I suppose. lol

          Reply
          • It wouldn’t be wildly different from what they’ve done with XY, ORAS and SM. They could probably port the graphics engine over easily enough if they’ve designed it to be flexible.

Colosseum wasn’t the same as Stadium. Stadium was nothing but battling, Colosseum had a story and was also about exploring and interacting with characters, just like a regular Pokemon handheld.

Making a game like that now would provide several benefits over making it for a handheld. They could achive better graphics, it would be clearer on a larger screen, they’d have more system resources to work with which would make them less constrained in what they could and couldn’t do, and they could make the game bigger.

Plus I still think team Cipher (from Colosseum and XD) are the best villanous team. Their admins had way more personality and variation than the typical “what the grunts have got, but at a higher level” admins of other teams. And Colosseum/XD had a different vibe to it, the region felt very unique.

        • I gotcha. I actually never played Gale in it’s heyday, but I’ve heard good things. If I had the attention span and patience to play an older game like that then maybe I’d give it a try. That and I assume it’s pretty expensive now and I ain’t buying ti for a crazy price hahaha

          Reply
    • Tbh I think Genius Sonority on their own would be fine, they wouldn’t need to mix with Game Freak to get it done.

I think another XD-style game would be good though.

    • I like those games. And I’m open to more spin-off games that play closer to core Pokémon games, but Gen 4 and 5 are the edgiest I want my core Pokémon games getting.

        • Yea I still remember the initial promos for Adventure Time and getting so excited. The oversaturation of color was amazing. And it was the cartoon to make sci-fi/fantasy/anything-can-happen popular in modern cartoons.

          Reply
          • Yeah, but at least they all seem to be going off strong. The final season of Adventure time has been a blast with all of the Sci-fi love in it, and the scripts have been fantastic. Even the fact that Neil degrasse tyson made a cameo in the Halloween Special is a symbol to the sheer influence these shows have had.

And while their is some debate to its current successor’s quality, I do feel that we are seeing some good handoff’s hear.

          • wait it ended? I loved it but like they stopped at one point on a cliff hanger that I recall and never resumed it, kinda like the awesome Bee and Puppycat, it was great but they like did nothing with it

          • Bee and Puppycat was my shizz! Gosh I need to go and burn through both of these one Saturday. Can’t believe I never finished either.

          • Personally I’d argue that their isn’t a true successor yet, but rather that a few series will carry its might torch. For its fantasy and odd humor I would say Mighty Magisword has picked up that end of the torch, which I really do like. Its a weird sort of humor, and it won’t be for everyone, but its fun. Also it doesn’t hurt that Arin Hanson/Egoraptor/half of Gamegrumps is one of the antagonist’s in the show. More or less a cat wizard that is very likely black.

          • Gotcha. I’m holding out hope that Pendleton Ward comes up with a new cartoon. I’ll follow his and Rebecca Sugar’s careers till the day I die now.

          • Two reasons:

            1. Its the most popular series on the network by a landslide. Its very popular among kids, and several adults do enjoy it given its trying to act more like a parody of the Teen Titans. Almost like an Abridged Series.

            2. I wouldn’t say it sucks so much as its people projecting their nostalgia and saying anything that isn’t the exact same is bad. Certainly their are some series you can argue are bad on the network, but really this one kinda defies it. Between its more parody styles of characters, its ease of switching through different art styles for the sake of some cleaver jokes, and that they got the original voice cast across the board who could easily refuse the role if they felt that the series was garbage, I find it hard to say that it sucks. Heck its a series that found a way to explain the concept of Equity in ten minutes that’s easy enough for kids to understand, and probably a better way of explaining it then most adults would be able to come up with.

          • I never liked teen titans and then I saw this it wasn’t bad then they had to make it take over almost 80% of the time Cartoon Network has on its air in a day so I have to watch all day every day family guy which I live except I have to repeat the same 20 episodes every time

    • I’ve always wondered about these creatures that lure men, like sirens and such, they always took on the form of woman, so like I always assumed that gay men would be immune to them. *becomes besties with them all and takes of the world*

That said I’m pretty sure neither mermaids nor melusines actually ate humans, they just killed them for the fun of it.

  29. Speaking of CN cartoons. Here’s one of the pilots they put out this year on YouTube. Obvious inspiration from what’s been popular the past few years, but with AT coming to an end and Gravity Falls over, a show like this definitely could fill the hole that will soon sit empty.

    https://youtu.be/oY6kfVWv01k

    Reply
    • Oh hey, it’s Gretchen from Recess.

The inspirations are pretty blatent though.
It’s like a Gravity Falls and Adventure Time fusion, and the robot is clearly inspired by Marvin.

      Reply
      • Also important to note that it’s an animation pilot. Meaning if it were to get picked up, final product would change a bit, it would likely find more of its own voice during that process.

        Reply
        • I’m not a fan of the humour, but the plot certainly seems interesting, assuming they’ve actually got something tangible in mind for what’s going on and it isn’t mysteriousness for the sake of mysteriousness like certain other shows have been. Gravity Falls got it right in that respect, there was a definite plot and a definite ending, even if it seemed like it was over a bit too soon.

No idea how Adventure Time panned out, I only ever watched about 25 episodes, but I’m aware that they added a bit of backstory with the Mushroom War.

          Reply
          • Just depends on that show, imo. AT is more of a sandbox for writers and artists to explore and play with as they best see fit. Gravity Falls was telling a specific story. Steven Universe is telling a specific story. Regular Show was a sandbox type show. With the right people both styles work.

          • I prefer interpersing plot-based episodes with problem-of-the-week episodes and maybe putting a nod to the overall arc in the standalone episodes. The last standalone series I really liked was Billy and Mandy, and maybe Chowder, but Billy and Mandy had a sense of progression in some cases because they’d refer back to previous events from time to time.

Also I just found out Adventure Time actually had an episode called ‘Dungeon Train’, and it looks like they’ve taken a heck of a lot from it. Doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be a bad series, but it means they’d need to put a lot of effort in to stop the series being too close for comfort.

        • I was literally sitting here like, what is this ICONIC voice, and then I looked over and legit saw my copy of Last of us and was like, holy shit. Talk about crazy.

          Also Yay corgi’s

          • Ellie > Gretchen

also she sounds more like ellie in this than gretchen, there was a very distinct thing she did with that voice

          • I have. I thought your were commenting on the personality/red hair and glasses. Didn’t realize that was the same VA.

          • No, I meant the voice, it is indeed the same VA as Gretchen and aparently Ellie from The Last Of Us.

I think she must get typecast a bit because she also voiced Gwen Tennyson in Ben10: Ultimate Alien.

          • Boom. Thank you. I think that’s where I knew her voice from more than anything else. Just couldn’t put my finger on it. I can tell you the artists of countless comics from just their sketches but I struggle with a lot of VAs haha

          • From Ben 10?

I’m more of a manga person, though I haven’t bought any in ages.
I’m generally quite good with voices, slightly more than I am with faces.

          • Yea Ben 10. That show should have tried harder to have more consistent canon and rules to the universe but it was a damn good idea for a show.

Just now starting to get into manga. Starting with my favorite anime: Death Note.

          • I liked the original series, but the later series gradually stopped being good. They did alright by adding to the lore, but the highbreed arc seemed to drag on for ages and then they got confused about what they wanted to do next.

Never seen Death Note, it’s somewhere on my ever-growing list of things I need to watch.

There was a game that had a similar premise to Ben 10. I think it was called Kameo or something. I only ever played a demo of it once, but it was pretty good.

          • Also, in case you’re worried, I also know Marvin is the robot from Hitchhiker’s Guide lol I had a camp counselor as a child who read excerpts of the book to us at night.

          • I could understand having never encountered Marvin, I only saw the film a few years ago.

Sidenote: I’ve never had a counsellor or been to camp.

          • I’ve lived a comfortable and privileged life tbh. I went to week long camps several summers in a row as a kid.

          • I’m not even we have a concept of ‘summer camp’ here in Britain. At least I’ve never heard of anyone mention anything equivalent.

    • “Yay! Shadow Puppets! I can do an Eagle”

Alright. Greenlight this series now. Let this be the second series to carry Adventure times mighty torch!

    • This looks pretty good, but have you ever seen the pilot for Back to Backspace? Makes me sad that CN won’t pick up a pilot like that, yet they air crap like Mighty Magiswords and Clarence. SU, Regular Show, and We Bare Bears are the only things on CN I really like right now. Hopefully this one can come through.

Sadly, this means that everyone who applied with their teams will have to reapply (and I’m removing my character from it in order to make it fair in case you guys vote for me to make the choice) and if the reapplication process leads to an odd number of applicants, I’ll have to remove one or wait for another applicant to even begin writing. Sorry for being a pain guys, but I feel that this is the way to make the most amount of people happy whilst also not ruining the surprise of people reading!

There’s also two templates, for your trainer and three Pokémon. There’s also a few rules 😡

    1) Only one Gen VI Pokémon (minimises guesswork)
    2) No legendaries or mythicals (includes Silvally as for all we know only one or two were ever produced)
    3) For the luls, it’s a monotype tournament! However, types are allowed to be repeated.

    And now, onto the template:

Trainer (Has to be an avatar of you, but van have a completely different name, appearance, etc)

Full Name: (No objections to using your IRL first name, but for your own safety don’t just copy paste your full name)
    Type Speciality:
    Personality: (sweet and short plz)
Key Stone?: Y/N (If yes, what’s their Mega Accessory?)
Z-Crystal?: Y/N (If yes, what Z-Crystal does the trainer hold? Also, it has to be one we know the animation and name for. Z-Crystal does not have to be of your type specialty!)
^You can have both, but only one per battle.
    Hair/Eye/Skin Colour: (separate them with a /)
Height/Weight: (rough instead of exact measurements, like ‘tall’ or ‘very light’ to ‘hella small’ to ‘very heavy’)
    Rough Clothing Details:
    Interesting Notes: (Scars, Moles, Freckles)

    Pokémon (x3)

    Species:
    Name:
    Item:
Mega Accessory: (Leave out if not applicable)
Behaviour: (Not nature, leaving that out)
    Moves:
Interesting Notes: (Scars, accessories, differences from species’ norms)

    I’ll drop a blank of both templates when someone shows interest. Sorry for the inconvenience ^^;
