After being announced at the end of June, Pokémon Shuffle is now available to download on iOS and Android devices… if you live in Japan.
The app is a mobile port of the 3DS game in which players must match three or more Pokémon in order to clear each stage. For the most part the game remains the same though Facebook connectivity has been added, allowing players to support their friends by sharing mini hearts. Leaderboards and save data from the 3DS version of the game are separate from the mobile version and cannot be transferred.
(Just in case you needed a reminder of how the game will look)
It isn’t clear when the US and European version of the game will launch, though it’s safe to assume it will be soon. Pokémon Shuffle is a free downloadable game for iOS and Android devices.
