Today I’ll formally introduce you to Pokévolution 🙂 It’s a site that I helped out with done by a PJN visitor and friend. They do news like we do, but also have a lot of community activities as well as a trade database!

Hey guys. To be completely honest I think that highlighting on this site was very nice. But I really think you should be focusing on this site. This is your site. If you talk about a different site and people think “oh that’s a cool idea the trading post” they would want to go here. I think you guys need to come up with ways to bring in new faces. While I think everyone here is awesome I think it’s time to see new users not the same (or ones with different accounts) just my opinion but this does seem to be a rather unimportant article.
Thanks for your opinions 🙂 It’s a slow news period so we tend to supplement with more articles focused on different things that we normally don’t cover.
With all due respect, I don’t think one article will hinder the performance of PJN. PJ was just trying to be nice and help a new website gain viewers, something he long struggled with. 🙂

Do you think we’ll get an event for Jirachi or Hoopa first?
Well, Japan has an event for a Shiny Jirachi that will start soon, if I recall correctly.
Considering the fact that Japan always gets the good stuff before us, I think that we’ll get a Jirachi event by the time they get a Hoopa event.
The accuracy of my statement is debatable, but that’s purely my opinion.
O yeah. I’m kinda hoping Jirachi triggers some special event in the game. But I doubt it….it’d be cool if there was a special little event at the space center or something
Finally got my Disqus to work, but it means switching my browser from Chrome to Firefox, which is really annoying considering most of my work is done on Chrome.
Besides that, what do you guys think the next game will be titled? I think that Pokemon Z won’t be the name since it’s the one that’s most expected. Remember ‘Pokemon Grey’ around the time of Pokemon Black and White that everyone was sure would happen? Yeah… it didn’t.
I think it’ll be something really random that we don’t see coming. Plus no one really wants a Kalos remake so hopefully if they give us Z it’s not just a touched up story.

Before Winter Break I worked on a way that establishes a relation (while flawed, when x>y and becomes increasingly inaccurate as x -> Infinity) between two numbers x^x and y^y. It doesn’t help with anything much, but it might help in my quest to find a better way to write the equation y=x^x (one that is easier to work with) c:

What I’m saying is that there’s a definite relation between two numbers (say, 2 and 3) that when taken to the power of itself (2^2 and 3^3), there is a relationship. So i found a way to relate 27 to 4, or 256 (4^4) to 4 or 256 to 27, and so on. But it gets increasingly difficult to find a relationship the larger the numbers are, say 44^44 and 3^3
lel its not that bad, not as bad as finding a relationship between a sequence of numbers x^n, where x is a natural number.

I got Hyrule Warriors and Wonderful 101. I reorganized my shelves. I got a cabinet for PlayStation consoles. And I bought an NES and boxed PS1 yesterday! The state of Trainers has changed. They can exert a small fraction of the effort it used to take to catch Xatus like me. I hope the new iterations of our universe pay more attention to the 1/8192 chance that Arceus intended.

The chances were cut in half in the sixth generation. From my research, that results in half the satisfaction.
O.O by half? Makes me wonder why i used to get a shiny lieperd in the same area every time i played through white.
That means you got extremely lucky. Back in elementary school, my friend looked up how to get a shiny Whismur and the website said to walk in a certain patch of grass. Well, he did it and it worked. Somehow, the 1/8192 chance was aligned for each of you.
I forgot to mention it was a cinccino for my black. Never would get another shiny in those games.

For people complaining that the site is “dead,” I’m gonna ask that you quit your whining now. There is nothing to talk about that is worth making a huge deal about, like when Mega Evolution was introduced. And need I remind you that during the time of XY and ORAS, there were THOUSANDS of comments per article, so I definitely wouldn’t call the site dead. If don’t want to support PJN through the popular times and the down times, then leave, because that shows you were never a part of the PJN family anyways. My fellow staff members and I are working hard to come up with article ideas to bring to you guys, and if you don’t appreciate our effort… Then that’s on you.

really, this is my 4th shiny in x and y, 1st was “the one and only” Snivy follow by torchick then beldum (this was when mega metagross was announce but no shiny beldum event) and now archen! i did manage to find my first wild shinny in sinnho …. i twas a freaking MAGIKARP!!! agh! i killed that thing
