As promised, Oha Suta has aired the world premiere of the trailer for the next Pokémon Movie. While it doesn’t show much, it gives us a quick look at Mega Rayquaza, Primal Groudon and Kyogre and what is likely Hoopa appearing in a Hyperspace portal.

  1. Shiny Mega Rayquaza cause why not right…? Introduction of Hoopa means only Volcanion is left, could be an interesting movie providing that it has an actual story and is not just some interaction of legendary Pokemon

  4. Since Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire came out I haven’t come here but what a good way to come back and see this! First, we now have almost confirmation that Hoopa will be in the next movie!
    And also, shiny Mega Rayquaza!? That is great!
    Has everyone been enjoying the new games?

  5. I really can’t see this movie being good. Hopefully they do an event for shiny rayquaza though, although I’m sure it’ll be Japan exclusive.

  10. I wish they’d make the movies as high budget as the first one and put them back in theatres again for us americans.

    I’ll never forget my childhood, buying the soundtrack just to listen to Brother My Brother. Or turning on MTV the Box just to try and catch the music video for Don’t Say You Love Me by M2M. Crying in the theatre when Ash turned to stone (died) and Pika cried. And how happy I was to get an event Promo Pikachu card while walking into the theatre. Epic times.

  11. Now I’m really excited for the Volcanion movie.
    Think of the possibilities! It will probably tie-in with Zygarde in some way, with Volcanion causing the ecosystem of Kalos to crumble because of it’s intense heat and scalding water and then Zygarde transforms into its new form(s) to stop Volcanion who then Mega Evolves?

  14. i think this is the ancient pokemon world , hoopa use Hyperspace Hole to transfer these primal legendary to the future i mean our time . (when people get sucked in a black hole, they can see the future or the past) Einstein theory .

  32. Well, time to mindlessly play that Pokemon Global Link minigame until I get another master ball because I used one on the shiny Reshiram.
    Someone with Alpha Sapphire, soft reset for a shiny Zekrom.

  34. Oh!
    Just in case no one else will come on tonight, I must say.
    ORAS is beautiful, nostalgic, and almost made me cry on certain occasions.
    Wally at the end with his theme and improved change made me speechless at first and I sooo wanted to cry there.
    And while it may have its problems, I tend not to focus on the negative, I must say, for someone who has Hoenn in a part of her heart since my childhood, it’s positives shine really well. I was almost sad to complete it.
    And at least I can say I completed Hoenn more than once. (Yeah, I was a stupid child back then).
    I just need to finish my AS (I’ve been playing along with Shady, cause why not :3).
    Also I need to go through the Delta Episode, I haven’t yet. I’m waiting to finish my AS first before I do it in my OR. I’ve gone through the beginning part that I couldn’t skip (cause I wanted to catch legendaries not in Delta Episode)
    Anyways, all I can say is that it totally exceed my high hopes/expectations and really made me nostalgic. I couldn’t ask for a better Hoenn remake, imo.
    Anyways, bai. (I’ll still be here to talk)

      • I only completed it once back then xD E4 was really hard for me to defeat. I just couldn’t figure it out.
        And I only defeated it through Rayquaza….so yeah.
        xD Nice. That Master Ball saved me, cause Kyogre was demolishing my team. I didn’t want to do it, but I had to capture it. I couldn’t even damage it to the red, it kept destroying my team.
        But in OR, I can say that I caught Groudon with an Ultra Ball….took 4 tries, though.

            Let me ask you something.
            Did it increase clicks with the number of tries? Like I only got one click at most in the 1st try, finally got 2 in the second, and 3 in the 3rd, and finally that 4th click on the fourth try.
            I kinda liked that really and was amused at the pattern xD
            But if that happened with you, we are SERIOUSLY SERIOUSLY SO SERIOUSLY related.

      • Lol I remember when I played emerald I think the first time. I found a tropius and it was so hard to catch that I used my master ball. Then rayquaza was SOOO hard to catch

    Wally’s Theme is my jam.

    It’s like a Japanese anime opening song, like it’s too rocking.
    I just looked it up and I jsut realized it’s a rockier, somewhat heavier version of his encounter theme….how could I not notice that at first?!
    I love it, I love how it relates to his encounter theme and show how much he’s grown in determination…

    I have a lvl 100 Swampert w/the OT: ABBBHGN (apparently from my playthrough of Sapphire) and a Doduo named GNMUMNNUMk (from my Fire Red I think)…
    What was I on back then?

  62. I wonder were the movie will take place. If it’s going to be in Kalos or Hoenn. Would Ash travel back; or does Groudon and Kyogre come to them? Hoenn’s the biggest option since it’s close to Kalos and it’s possible that May and Max could return. I have high hopes for this movie. Hopefully, it isn’t a flop!

    • It will most likely revolve around Hoopa transporting Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, and Shiny Mega Rayquaza from the past, to present Kalos.
      I could see some Hoenn character appearances, though. Possibly Steven and/or Wallace and/or Zinnia.

  64. I’m curious why the Legendary Dogs have an older soundfont battle theme than the rest. Sure, it’s nostalgic, but it’s a bit off from the rest of the battle themes of the other Legendaries.
    Did anyone else find that odd?

  66. The trailer finally loaded for me! Before when I tried playing it, it said the video was private. Movie looks amazing, but then again, this is just the teaser. I hope they can make the plot better than the last few, but I have low expectations for it. Anyway, I’m at around 2500 srs for shiny mudkip. (I don’t count the actual resets, but I get in about 100 per hour, and I’ve been hunting for 25 hours.)

  71. That realization when a clever, meaningful nickname you came up with is also what multiple people came up with D:
    Legit, I named my in-game Camerupt Vesuvius, cause Mt Vesuvius was a beast of a volcano that destroyed Pompeii (and another city I believe), and Mega Camerupt having a volcano on its back just makes it so much more meaningful….
    But then I see a couple of Wifi battles with 2 people having a Camerupt named Vesuvius. I’m just like ‘Crap, not original after all’

            it was so bad she basically collapsed at the restaurant
            then a big ol’ cryfest as i drove us home

          • I can totally understand. When my grandma died earlier this year, my mom went through a hard time since she was closest to her and took care of her and saw/talk to her every day. It was hard for all of us, but especially my mom. And maybe my older brother since they were kindred spirits, in a way.
            My grandma’s birthday was the 3rd of this month and we had to spend Thanksgiving and soon to be Christmas without her for the first time. This holiday season is definitely the most emotional for us, especially for my mom.
            It’ll get better, trust me 🙂

          • It used to be that way for me…at least as far as I could remember. My great-grandparents died when I was young, but I don’t remember them as much, only by the old stuffed animals they gave me…but I ended up giving them away to little kids that need them more than I do.
            But yeah, until this year, it didn’t happen yet to me. I hope for you that it won’t happen for a long while.

            but in the car we all were crying so hard, through the sobs and my voice cracking i told everyone to be strong for him

            We couldn’t have known or prevented this and there’s nothing we can do for him

          • It will be hard, and I’m glad that you’re supporting your family and telling them to be strong.
            It will take time. It’s not gonna get better right away. It helped, for my sake, because my grandma had dementia, and I wanted her to be free from it. It hurts, but knowing she is in a better place, free from her mental struggle, helped me get through most of it.
            I also wrote poetry about her, and that helped. Find a medium to express yourself. It helps a lot.
            Nobody knows when people in their life will die. Nobody can prevent it. Believe me, my other grandma died before I was born because of a brain tumor no one noticed until it was too late. They could have found out earlier, but it happens. By ending his suffering by pulling the plug, you’re helping him escape the pain and be free from it in a much better place, wherever it may be. That sounds heartless, I know, but by doing that, you’re doing something, you’re ending his pain. It’s for the better.
            Just hang in there, okay? 🙂

Because these events are unfortunately what makes life life. I certainly hope for your family’s well-being. This is something only you and your family can over-come. And only through yourselfs.     First time Platinum because I hated Diamond/Pearl (too slow,too many HMs, freaking region with a mountain in the middle and the snow and mud fields)

  117. So I finished the Delta Episode last night.
    Holy moly, did I want to cry.
    Zinnia is one of my favorite characters, like, I so wanted to cry at what she said before summoning Rayquaza.
    I want to do a cultural/theory article on her so bad!
    I easily relate to her, and that’s not something to take lightly.
    My heart went out to her, and I love her personality even before Sky Pillar. She kinda reminds me of me sometimes.
