Mega Sableye has been confirmed for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The Mega Stone to Mega Evolve Sableye will only be available in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
When Sableye Mega Evolves all its energy is concentrated into the jewel on its chest, which grows in size and detaches from the Pokémon’s body. Mega Sableye uses the jewel to protect itself from oncoming attacks, which apparently hardens providing a huge defensive benefit during battle.

In my opinion, mega evolution is a unbalanced, overpowered, and overhyped gimmick and the fact that they’re giving mega evolutions to Pokemon that should get a normal evolution makes this even worse.

Especially with Mega-Evolution, knowing how many fans may be angered with the change and progression, yet they knew fans would soon grow to love it like every other change that has occurred within the Pokemon World. Weren’tt they always panned for being “safe-players?” Weren’t their games tagged as “boring” and “stale” because they’ve always stuck to their roots. Seeing them take a leap and finally taking the risks needed to burst their bubble was what truly made X and Y revolutionary. Taking risks with Sceptile, Mega-Evolution, Sableye, and one of the most beloved games (Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald) and altering them is a big risk yet they took it.

Introducing Mega Evolution in X and Y was a huge risk to begin with, so I don’t see why they would stop. I don’t see people complain about Groudon and Kyogre’s Primal Regression, not as much.

Shiny Mega Sableye will have a green rupee, not a gold one. Regular sableye has a red gem in it’s chest. The Rupee thing is red on the mega evo. Shiny Sableye has a green gem in it’s chest. Therefore, it’s rupee will be green when it Mega Evolves :3

People would usual let Sableye stays in first turn, so Taunt it. They will likely switch, so you can use Leech Seed. After that, switch Whimsicott out. Nobody told you to make it stay in the battle field.

What’s up with people not wanting to purchase the games now? And just because of Megas (which are optional). The purpose of competitive battling IMO is to battle to the best of your ability and have fun while doing it. You have to overcome many challenges in life and many challenges in the Pokemon world too. One of the main challenges of the Pokemon world are tough trainers. You encounter those trainers in online play a lot (and I mean A LOT) more than in in-game battles. I think GF is doing a great thing and trying to please the fans, but what do we give in return? Hate. I think that’s really unfair for GF. For God’s sake, look at the positives of things in life, don’t dwell on the negatives. Your life isn’t over because of a Mega Sableye, it’s just one more challenge added to the online scene. A challenge you need to overcome to be the very best like no one ever was! If you give up that easily, you aren’t such a good Pokemon trainer now are you? If you are not going to purchase ORAS and stop playing Pokemon because one stupid little thing, then it’s your loss. While everyone is having fun and enjoying Hoenn, you’re just going to sit there wanting the game, or wishing you would have bought it. One little thing doesn’t define a game, and it doesn’t ruin your Pokemon life either. It’s not about winning or losing, it’s about enjoying the game and having fun!

So Ive been thinking to myself this: Have people forgotten what pokemon is really about. The fact that the underling mentality that the metagame (which is very important) is the end all be all to what makes a good pokemon game pretty goes to show that most now use their opinions about pokemon just to fuel arguments and irrational debates. While some still out there still truly love pokemon for what it is, I feel as if that group of is dwindling away. Stats do not make a pokemon better than another. Love the game for what it is and all the hard work put into it instead of spewing shit across the internet about how on little thing ruins the whole franchise.

Yes, but the typing really matters. With Stealth Rocks around, it’s hard to be a good Fire/Flying/Ice/Bug type. Seeing as those 4 types are pretty frail.. Although, this isn’t entirely true. Charizard Y and Volcarona are my examples of going past this. But they have things that differentiate them from the others. Charizard Y has Drought and high special attack, and Volcarona’s ability and Quiver Dance set it apart.

Very true. However stats also matter a lot. In my opinion the most important stat is speed. Because this basically defines who attacks first and who manages to get the KO first.
Another thing to consider is this. It goes without saying that a Primal Kyogre with a Special Attacking Stat of 200 is dangerous. In my opinion a a Primal Kyogre with a 110 base speed or 120 base speed is even ore dangerous….because now it out speeds the majority of Ubers and threatens to KO with stupidly strong moves..

Also one of the main reasons Mega Lucario is broken is because of that awkward speed stat where it out speeds all the bas 110 s and below…making it very hard to even revenge kill without a scarfer. ..again speed being the deciding factor

I don’t hate the game, but when it received 3 freaking sessions to showcase it, I’m upset.
Splatoon is what happens when COD and Mario Sunshine have a one night stand. Yet awesomer and not as depressing and unfortunate.
So, um…
I have been doing some research on SSB, and I have found that 9 newcomers have been announced (Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Mega Man, Rosalina and Luma, Little Mac, Greninja, Mii Fighters, Palutena, and Pac-Man).
This means there is a possibility of 1 new character left to be announced, as it would only make sense to do 10.
Now, upon further analysis, I have come to a conclusion that most characters in the game come from Mario and Pokemon, meaning there will probably not be any more characters from those franchises.
But, I have a hunch that most veterans WILL be returning from SSBB, as it wouldn’t make sense to leave them out.
Now, that 1 newcomer. It would have to be from a series that doesn’t have many characters in the game, which brings me to a couple of options:
• Dixie Kong (Donkey Kong Country series)
• Helda (LOZ:LBW)
• Roy (Fire Emblem Series)
• Dark Pit (Kid Iccarus Series)
• other
Now these are just my guesses.

Just some class ideas about Splatoon
Gunners: what we saw in the trailers
Rollers: Use rollers for a wide radius paint coverage and a strong melee attack in sacrifice of any ranged capabilities
Sprayers: Shorter range gunners but areas painted by them don’t show up on the minimap and also faster non squid movement
Hose men: Slower gunners with a long range paint coverage
That could work really well. I think they said there will be more to Splatoon, so I could definitely see something similar to these classes coming into play.
Here are some 4chan observations of the Hoenn map:
So, we’ve got the map of redesigned Hoenn now. Despite its tiny size, we can see some things if we look closely.
-PokeCenter and PokeMarts are separate. There doesn’t seem to be any boutiques or anything like this added.
-We’re back to the dull uniform Gym design. They are all yellow buildings.
-Looks like Slateport, Vendanturf and Fallarbor Cities have Contest Halls (since it looks like Slateport has the same building). I guess this was predictable, since Contests are Hoenn’s “big feature” and they’ll probably be heavily hyped during the game coverage, while the Battle Tents were a gimmick.
-The Route near Meteor Falls has been made more meteor-like now, with craters and all that stuff. Except Forme-changing rocks for Deoxys there (and possible Magneton/Nosepass evolution spot).
-Mauville City seems to be the most redesigned city. Looks like it’s surrounded by a wall (with gates, unfortunately).
-Hard to tell if Altering Cave is accessible (I hope it is, since I’d like them to finally give it a purpose).
-Trainer Hill seems to be gone (it was originally an e-Reader thing, so I guess they preferred to axe it, rather than giving it a new purpose).
-The small beacon on the Lilycove Seaside seems to be bigger. Maybe it’ll be given a purpose?
-There seem to be no notable additions in the continental part of Hoenn. However, the marine part is heavily redesigned, with many new islands and islets to explore.
-EverGrande City seems to be added some new buildings in the pre-Victory Road part. Perhaps it’ll finally feel like a city?
-It’s hard to locate Sky Pillar? Maybe it’s under the cloud between Sootopolis and Pacifildog?
-The Battle Tower/Frontier (hopefully the latter) is likely covered with clouds.
-Southern Island is safe and sound, in case you had any doubt about its returning.
-And yes… There’s that black blob on the north. But you’ve surely noticed that.

We don’t know this yet. Just cause the building looks blue, doesn’t mean it’s a Pokemart. It could be a boutique for all we know. Until we see a close up shot which labels it as the Pokemart. We won’t know.

Yes and no. There’s no traditional “application”. Retry is a community based news site much like PJN. This means that we do accept community written articles and we do post them if they’re good or informative. All you have to do is go to the bottom right corner of the home page and click the “add article” button. Write your content and publish it. We’ll approve or disapprove. If you write many articles and have good skills, we’ll recognize your effort and possibly add you to the team. But it’s not up to me. I don’t have much say in that aspect.

Little mac is great addition to the roster being fast and agile and his recovery is easy to get use to
Greninja…. Most of his attacks was kinda Bland to me…. his fastness didnt go well with his attacks and most of it was dodging

I feel like this mega will get a Fur Coat like ability, to foil with Mega Mawile and Huge Power. The description on the main site seems like it’s pointing in this direction, too. It’s also worth mentioning that on the turn that it mega evolves, it will still be first if it uses Prankster.

I wish I was lucky chain fishing. I’m still hiunting for shiny dragonair on route 21 but all i get are poliwhirls that i already have a ton of and basculins that kill themselves with final gambit
Wow I didn’t even know dragonair can appear in the wild. I knew dratini could. I found a shiny poliwhirl while I was fishing for dratini, I could never get even a regular one to pop up

And honestly again, I think Pokemon Amie is a much better alternative to walking with Pokemon. Every Pokemon able to be bonded with much more than simply walking with them

I was one of the folks hoping for Poke’s to follow us again, but then when I saw the gameplay trailer for ORAS a day or 2 ago I even forgot that I wanted that. The graphics, new megas, Amie (like you said) all make for a much better experience than walking with the Poke. I can live without that feature now XD

I don’t think Mega Sableye can have Stance Change because it can’t learn King’s Shield (in XY anyway).
Also, I’ve been reading comments on Gamefaqs, and maybe Mega Sableye won’t get a new ability because new abilities need to exist in XY to be compatible. That’s why Black and White Kyurem’s abilities aren’t new.
I hope he keeps Prankster imo. It still fits him, and Clefable and Sylveon still wall him pretty bad.
But. But Sableye has such a beautiful offensive capabilities. :'(
And it hurts me to see it used as a status slave.
Well, what if it’s offenses are heightened as well? Nasty Plot works well with Prankster, and with higher defenses, it’ll be able to set up better 😀
That could work, I just hope more people are willing to use it for attacking rather than statusing.
Mark my words, Mega Diancie & Mega Sableye will share the same ability. Double their defenses (defensive version of Huge Power). If the devil was here right now I’d bet my soul on it.
I’m sure you’re right. Both of them have giant jewels in them. I’m actually hoping for new abilities, and maybe New Megas can’t be activated in XY, or, XY will have a massive patch update.
Definitely a massive patch update. XY are on version 1.2 (when you start the game up it shows it on the menu), and the cartridge is 1.4G, 3DS cartridges can store up to 8G. I’m expecting a patch that allows XY to trade with the new stones.

As I read Hunger Games after the movie, I realize they left out a bunch, most notably some stuff about those Avox people, and in the book, Katniss and Peeta seem like BLOOD enemies, but it seems they’re closer in the movie.

This was back when I was actively in RP.
Some movies do a great job at being on par with the book. Fantastic Mr. Fox for example. It added and changed things, but it worked so well, and kept you involved in the story, like the book.
Yeah. Divergent and The Fault In Our Stars are the really close ones. More so TFIOS.
But they haven’t beaten the book yet.
I haven’t read Divergent yet but I wanted to see the movie based on how hot the actors were XD
All I can say is, most of the actors are spot on. And it follows really well.
Theo is spot on. In fact, I think he makes a better Four than the original, but that might be up to debate.

After rewatching the Mega Sableye trailer over and over, I have come come up with another theory!
It might be pure Ghost!!! Why?
1. After Mega Evolving, it is seen floating, and then floats down onto the ground.
2. The moves it uses are Shadow Ball, Shadow Sneak, and Foul Play. The majority of those moves are Ghost Typed.
3. It looks more like a Ghost now.
4. With so many sources hinting at its having high defenses due to its Giant Gem, it’s only fair for it to have two weaknesses (Dark and Ghost) rather than one (Fairy).
