Guys… For those who are looking forward to new Megas and more forms etc… Heres a quote from nintendo when they were explaining the same-sex marriage thing in Tomodachi Life… “such a significant development change can’t be accomplished with a post-ship patch.”

Well I imagine for something like that the games are already written to allow for a patch update. I’m not 100% on programming but I would imagine for something like Pokemon there would be place holder data for a variable number of new pokemon.
With the Tomodachi Life issue it makes sense that it’d be harder to post patch seeing as they didn’t plan from the start to add more things to the game.
What they meant is that they already wrapped up development of the game. The team is already working on something else. They did not plan for them to stop doing what they do now and work on something else within their budgetary layout.
However, developing mega’s can be part of ORAS development, which can then be added to XY. The time and effort spent to put them in will be compensated by the fact of sales of the new games, and maybe even of XY. The same cannot be said about Tomodachi Life, becausing adding the same-sex marriage patch postlaunch will not lead to new sales, simple as that.
So, the Pokeball pattern Vivillon was just announced for France.. Cool haha

so im working on homework, and just added a bunch of people from facebook to get more friend safari’s. I go into a dark safari and just look up from my homework when a new pokemon pops up. Well i run into a vullaby and i think to myself, i dont think theyre usually that pink, or brown..so i go on serebii and look it up, and i ran into a shiny vullaby! threw an ultra ball, and got a critical capture!!

Please don’t feel sad about this, but two week’s before ORAS’ release date, I will avoid anything ORAS related during that time. Unlike XY, there won’t be new pokémon this time, so I can restrain myself from spoiling. Any new megas that aren’t revealed during that time will be a surprise to me. Also, I have no idea who the Champion will be (Steven, Wallace, or someone else), so I want to be surprised when I beat the E4.
It is hard for me not to spoil stuff!!! I check here and serebii everyday!!

Can we just talk about how under appreciated steven is as a champion everyone only talks of cynthia but steven actually was a hard champion, and his music is under appreciated as well.

I played Kalos with no Exp Share, no lucky egg, or grinding in general and lacked an electric type….so I was under leveled by 10 and Siebold’s gyarados and starmie were 100x harder than diantha (diantha sounds like diancie on a random note).

I used to grind and realized that’s what made me lose interest in pokemon in-game. After playing fire emblem, I learned the ways of playing fast, and effienciently without grinding. Basically the goal will be to avoid as many battles as you can and never ever grind on wild pokemon and see how far you can go with no exp share/lucky egg etc.
I used to enjoy pokemon a lot more before because I would just go where the wind took me XD
NO exp share, only relying on like 2 pokemon in my team (one being a starter) and the others being sacrifice/hm slaves,,,
SO that’s how I’m going to play in ORAS!! 😀

The Rules of my Ground Monos are to use the first Ground Type until you catch the next one, no exceptions
Except for Soul Silver where i had to substitute Geodude for Phanpy and Rhyhorn for Gligar since they were in HG

I just think that all of the games took place at the same time, unless it said otherwise or it was a remake.

Some thoughts:
1. GSC/HGSS had to come after RSE/FRLG because Red was a champ in the 2nd Gen.
2. Gary/Blue visited Kalos, so Kalos had to at least happen after RSE/FRLG too.
3. A team rocket member who quit due to the team’s evil appeared in Sinnoh, so DPPt had to have at least happened after GSC/HGSS.
4. Cynthia appears in Unova after battling the protagonist of DPPt.
So basically, the earliest chronological order is:
1. Kanto
2. Johto / Kalos
3. Sinnoh
4. Unova
With Hoenn possibly unrelated and hardly mentioned in any of those games, it is possible to have Hoenn anywhere on the above timeline, even before/after Kalos.
Steven goes to johto AND is spoke of in kanto, so it’s guessed that hoenn is first.
Colress went to Kalos tho.

emerald and firered/leafgreen occur around the same time, then 3 years later platinum and heartgold/soulsilver occur around the same time, then an undetermined amount of time later black/white occurred, then 2 years later black2/white2 occurred, and finally an undetermined amount of time later x/y occurred. i mean, all of the games couldn’t have had occurred at the same time because in black/white a plasma grunt mentions how the other teams made a mistake in attracting so much attention to themselves, specifically galactic, implying black and white occurs after emerald, fr/lg, platinum, and hg/ss, in x/y a backpacker mentions colress researching the stones on route 10, we have the confirmed timeskips between fr/lg + hg/ss and b/w + b2/w2, and in hg/ss steven stone appears in the postgame supporting that emerald occurred previously to hg/ss. i’m pretty sure some official mentioned that that was the order of the timeline, though i’m gonna have to get back to you on that until i find who actually said it >.>

You know who I’d like to see in ORAS? I’d like Benga to come visit Hoenn. I felt he could be cooler than they made him seem. He was a pretty minor character. Maybe put a hidden ruin in the Desert area post game and then he helps you find it and inside is a Volcarona (*cough* and a volcaronite *cough*) And then he tells you about his Grandad or something and his Volcarona.
I’d like that! I’d also like to see Volkner make a cameo at the Battle Frontier.
Me too, he was my favorite gym leader from Sinnoh. Sinnoh had really awesome characters.
Plus, Sunyshore has amazing music! Heck, all of the Pokemon soundtracks are amazing!

For me it was Lance because I was a little kid when I played FR and sucked at pokémon. I was the one who taught all the Hyper Beams, Fire Blasts, Flys, w/o Coverage moves, and used the Legendary Birds as half of my party. XD
Lance in HG/SS was no challenge for me. I haven’t completed FR/LG
For me it was Cynthia. She was harder than Red for me. Her Garchomp always was so hard to beat unless I had a fast ice type like Weavile.
I used legendaries in Platinum sooo 😛

For some reason, Lenora was tough and so was Whitney, but that depended on my team at that point. It just depends on the team I decided to go with and what I had at the moment of battle.
The Hoenn E4 was hard 🙁 Hoenn was a tough region.
It was. It didn’t help that my child self was like, ‘Hey, I’m gonna go with all the Pokemon from the first route and not train/grind.’
Yeah when I first played Hoenn I really sucked and had like no idea there was a difference between physical and special attacks xD

I played D/P before 3rd gen and I was even worse then. I was so terrible that I made my Empoleon my HM slave. It had like Cut, Strength, Surf and Waterfall. So bad Dx

My grades have actually gotten worse ever since I’ve left Pokejungle temporarily, so my leave may be extended even more due to that. Although, I’m feeling pretty confident that the work I’ve done so far will make up for that.
Anyways, I can’t waste much time.

He gives you little prizes at the end of every puzzle. After about 6-8 puzzles, he admits you re better than him, and he leaves
The last prize is a red or blue tent, depending on what version you have. Blue is for Sapphire, Red is for Ruby, and you choose either one for Emerald. (I have never finished it either, due to never defeating the Champion). The other prizes are tiny and not very noteworthy, you can look them up on Bulbapedia, like I did.

Timid Aegislash can run various sets.
1. Choice Specs: Hidden Power Ice (should you have it)/ Shadow Ball/ Flash Cannon / King’s Shield
2. Life Orb Wide Guard Support (doubles): Wide Guard, Shadow Ball, King’s Shield, Substitute/Flash Cannon
3. Substitute Attacker, Shadow Ball, King’s Shield, Substitute
4. Autotomize (see below)
