It’s less than 24 hours until the Smash Bros Wii U/3DS Nintendo Direct airs! We are just as excited as you are!
We normally don’t cover other Nintendo news, but seeing as there’s a good chance something Pokémon related will get shown, we’ll make an exception this one time. So we’re asking you, which Pokémon do you think they will show as an additional character? Think they’ll bring back Mewtwo, possibly its Mega evolution? Will they do away with the Pokémon Trainer and Jigglypuff? Or maybe a Gen VI Pokémon to tie in with the recently released games?

I don’t know much about Smash Bros., and this one will be the first game I ever own of it, but I personally think Jigglypuff and Pikachu will return. I’ve seen them on every cover and they were in the original games. So the first game basically set a precedent for future games, but this is just my theory 😛
They most likely won’t do away with the Pokemon Trainer as Pokemon is one of Nintendo’s main games, but who knows? I hope Mewtwo does make an appearance because Mega Mewtwo Y and that Lumiose City stage :O
Maybe they’ll add a pseudo legendary such as Goodra? Hopefully they add Chesnaught!

They need to add a Pokemon that looks menacing, is popular and has power. With this in mind, I’m thinking Garchomp as a newcomer.

I can imagine it’s Mega Evolution looking perfect on the battlefield, among the others. It’s basically a double scythe user.
Things I want Pokémon wise for SSB4:
1. Version exclusive final smashes. Mewtwo/Charizard X on Wii U version, while Y is on 3DS version (assuming one of the two will be a playable character).
2. The Meowstic duo. They would be so cool to play as. Smash could use another dual fighter anyways.
3. Bring back Pichu, he was clearly the best.
Dual fighter as in like Ice Climbers? That would be a cool idea.
yeah! all their attacks would be psychic, the male could attack first, but the female’s attack could be stronger.
Do you think they’d make both versions (3DS & Wii U) linkable? Use the DS to play or unlock new stuff & whatnot?
I’m not sure to what extent the contact between games would go, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was simply to offer exclusive trophies.

I wish they would invest more on the 3DS and enhance its potential rather than focusing on the Wii U. Wii U is a cool concept, but it doesn’t appeal to everybody. Handheld gaming is eternal, everybody knows that.

Steelix is able to use Dragonbreath and Fire Fang, which means that it’s got some Fire in it just waiting to be released! Its body will become darker and more magma rock looking. With Flash Fire, it’ll no longer be weak to Fire AND get its Fire Fang move to be more powerful if Flash Fire is activated. Also, IT CAN’T GET BURNT!!! If burnt as a Normal Steelix, it will stay burnt, but not lose HP or have its Attack lowered.

1. Im american, but of English and Italian descent (i was even baptized into the Anglican church, even though im nonreligious)
2. Even though ive said it before, im Dyslexic, it runs in my family (it basically makes it harder for me to infer and analyze).
3. Im an “anti-hipster”. I dont like doing hipster-like things (like selfies, instagram, duck faces, etc.)
4. I’m close to being Anorexic (I’m not actually though, a lot of people think I am though because im really skinny).
5. Most people with feet problems have flat feet, I have the exact opposite, “High Arches”. Its exactly what the name says it is, but it makes me extremely clumsy and I cant walk well because of it. (I also cant stand right, it hurts to put my feet right beside each other)
6. I have something called “Floating Ribs”, its basically two extra rib bones that jut out (and it makes me seem skinnier than I am ;-; )

1. I collect toys. Some examples include Skylanders, Disney Infinity, Ponies (capital P) and various stuffed toys. To be remotely related to this board, I have plush toys of Vaporeon and a Chespin.
2. I am turning 32 this year.
3. With the exception of Fighting Games, I hate losing and usually don’t even start multiplayer because of it. This affects even Pokemon, though my motto in Showdown now is, “I will battle everyday to claim my rightful place.” 🙂 I can lose fine in Fighting Games for some reason. In fact, it even motivates me to get better.
4. My favorite Pokemon is Azumarill, but Azelf is the Pokemon I try to stick into any team possible.
5. I always pick the female protagonist in main series Pokemon games since I started in Sapphire. (Nate in B2W2 would’ve broken the streak because I didn’t like Rosa’s design, but I never bought B2W2.)

Okay so, what is going on people of Pokejungle. I’ve gotten an inside look into this month’s CoroCoro, which will be leaking around the 11th, and will be officially revealed between the 13th and 15th.
I have been given the opportunity to share with you beforehand what will be in that leak. I was able to retrieve the leak before it comes out, and I will tell you that a teaser for a new game is there.
I observed a Z, similar to the one that is attached to this post, and the numbers 2016 below this Z. Based off of the Z’s characteristics, it tells me that this teases Pokemon Z, the next game in the Pokemon Installment. This also tells me that based on the 5 pieces coming out of the top left of the Z, Zygarde will have 5 different formes.
The Z below is a rough computer drawing of what I saw in the CoroCoro. Does this leak the next game in the Pokemon installment, or is it just a coincidence? That question has already been answered.
Four tweets by Junichi Masuda that were later erased as complaints from the rest of his team, can be viewed below. I was able to catch these tweets as a second confirmation of Pokemon Z in this month’s CoroCoro.
I now have a complete schedule of when things will be occuring.
The first mention of Pokemon Z will occur around April 11th, 2014.
The first official mention of Pokemon Z will occur between June 10th and June 12th, which will be similar to X and Y in January.
The games are set to release sometime in 2016. Based on his small, undetailed tweets, a worldwide release and an official date were not revealed.
Now, whether or not you believe this, CoroCoro is right around the corner. In less than a week, you will see that I am correct.

– Paint and Adobe Illustrator. I had the magazine at hand for a bit, but it would be illegal to post photos until the first leak or the first confirmation had come out. So, a sketch wouldn’t hurt anything.

Hi Guise! I wanted to make my own region but what do you think of these concept art? Pokemon Purge is based off a griffin-like legendary that is the creator of love and peace. It is the Purification Pokemon and Fairy/Psychic. Pokemon Plague is based off a chimera-like legendary that is the creator of hatred, violence and war. It is the Pollution Pokemon and Poison/Dark.
I only created two concepts for the final evolution for the water starter, but which one is better? the dolphin or shark design?
I’m gonna go with dolphin as I have a dolphin bias, I like the design better, and Pokemon doesn’t have any dolphins yet.

If you’re a beginner competitive person, i recommend Heatran for your team. It’s pretty much a standard, and it helped me get into competitive battling back in gen 4.

No, es defense is the best offence.
It really is.
Make sure all your Pokes have good items. Life orb/focus sash/assault vest etc. Try to use a bunch of different types. Make sure your team has atleast 1 or 2 defensive pokes, have a Poke with priority (sucker punch/aqua jet)… Don’t ever use a team of 6 physical Pokemon (LOL) make sure you have some special pokes in it too. Seems like a lot but its just food for thought.
OH YEAH… and participate in lots of battles. It never hurts to lose. You’ll be gaining competitive experience and will atleast start being able to predict what trainers are going to do.

Tangroth for more bulk and Heliolisk for speed.I would go with Tangroth tbh it has great offensive stats in both attack and s.attack.. its only lacking in s.def over than that its outstanding with access to knock off and it gets regenerator so it never dies.
Do you know what’s underrated? Pyroar. Brilliant stats and has pretty good coverage moves.

Step one: Team Building
You need to figure out a team combination that can serve multitudes of purposes, You’ll want some kind of front lining support to set up hazards or perform a different function, you’ll need something that can Deal Damage either specially or physically something that can take a hit is also good, you just need to figure what Pokemon works best with you and you alone otherwise what’s the point
so try some combinations and experiment

Like I said before there’s really no right or wrong way to build a team, but then again there can be faults such as common weaknesses, stats and abilities and what that specific Pokemon can do, it’s all about synergy and experimentation and Balance.
You need to Gather different types of Pokemon and study what their roles can and should be

Ferrothorn Trap laying physical wall
Espeon set up special sweeper
you just need to gather Pokemon that work well together and see how they play out (their are no right or wrong answers)

Sweepers: pokemon that have Very high attack and are capable of destroying teams if not dealt with
Revenge killers: pokemon that switch in after yours faint and so they finish the pokemon off(pokemon with the moxie ability is good for this)
Stallers: they fit under the wall category but they literally stall until their oppanant falls to status effects or weather sometimes
Taunters: to understand this set you must understand what the move does
Taunt: stop the pokemon from doing non damaging moves
They switch in and taunt pokemon who use status moves a lot and they are difficult to use
Cleric heals the members too with aromatherapy and wish ect
A basic team is summed up with like this

The first week XY released, I went to Serebii chat and was seeing the type of stuff people were “seeking” in gen 6… and I noticed people kept “Looking For Destiny Knot”… and I instantly knew Gen 6 gave it an increased effect.. so I PMed someone asking them “Why is everyone looking for destiny knots, doesn’t that item suck?” and when they told me the 5IV thing I screamed. That was genius of Nintendo/Gamefreak to make breeding easier like this.
It used to only pass down one, so painful that’s why I stopped with Evs but I’m gonna start again

sort of. it works different. AR connects to your 3DS, so nintendo wouldve patched that out. PS connects to your PC, so u stick your cartridge in it. Everything is done directly to your cartridge, its literally a save modifier.

So what I did was trash masterballs til I got down to 720 (volcanions dex number), went to receive the pokemon and she gave me a bulbasaur -_-

And then Nintendo hit them with the cease thing.
