Check out all this cool Japanese Pokémon Center merchandise

Today I was able to make a trip out to the Tokyo Pokémon Center because it was the last day to grab the Gengar and Scizor downloads. They weren’t particularly special, but they are two great Pokémon and come with good natures. Picked up some merch while I was there too and made a quick video showing it off. Thanks for those that helped me decide what charms to get on Twitter! Sorry Kingler, maybe next time!

There’s also footage of more merchandise I bought earlier this month when I had the opportunity to go with Mr. Bojingles (our UNTAMED writer and Retry Level reporter) as well as Kriffix (one of our translators). It was a super awesome PokéJungle meet-up!

    • Hey PJ, I just need some tips as I’m going to Tokyo in May for two weeks. So here is what I need to know.

1: How Pokemon Centres are there in Tokyo.
2: Where are the Pokemon Centres in Tokyo.
      and
3: What other Pokemon X & Y merchandise can you buy there that you haven’t shown in the video.

If you could answer these, that would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

      • Glad I saw this comment.

There’s only one in Tokyo proper, but they recently opened a Tokyo Bay store which (I think) is in Chiba. There’s also one in Yokohama. If you’re staying in Tokyo the one closest to you will probably be the one at Hamamatsucho Station on the JR Yamanote Line.

And the Centers primarily stock plushies, a lot of stationary supplies, toys, home stuff (cooking stuff, pillows, etc), TCG accessories, gaming accessories, etc. You’ll just have to experience it first hand :p

        I’m sure you’ll have fun!

  1. I just watched the video. I’m so jealous of your holographic Chesnaught and Elegant Vivillon cards 🙁 I just recently got back into the trading card game…

I laughed so loud when you said you said your Chesnaught figure smells like plastic lol. I thought I was the only one that likes to smell the new stuff I get. It’s like an OCD of mine.

  2. Here you go!
This is the Bitta line. The female forms don’t have the tail fins or the underbelly plumage. It can also come in different colors.
