Blue and Pink are the only models that they still have in stock online (wow, the sale just started today!). Check your local stores for the Black/White ones. I bought mine the day they came out, but if I didn’t have one I’d probably go PINK ;D
I absolutely *love* my Black DSi and thought I’d pass along the info. Remember that Pokemon Black and White have the ‘Live Caster’ feature which allows you to video chat with another person over WiFi :3

BAH. I need a new DS (even with the 3DS pretty close), and I’ve been telling myself I wouldn’t get a DSi because I don’t think they’re worth it over a DS lite, but that is pretty cheap, anyone know how much DS Lites are going for at this point?

Well I do kinda need a new one, I still have the original DS I got for Christmas the year they came out, and I was fine with this until part of it broke, and now the screen almost comes off. D:

Or is it like Dragon Quest IX, where the main storyline isn’t particularry difficult, but the end-game dungeons/whatever are.
Well, I will say that a certain challenging boss who liked little balls surrounding him is back. 😛 Other than that, I can’t yet tell you how difficult the end of the storyline is, as my time with my DS is sadly limited by a full time job.
Well….. yeah, it’s fairly easy. I’ve been told that once I get farther in, the difficulty will pick up, but the first 4 hours are a snore. (Especially the HOUR LONG TUTORIAL DUNGEON!)

i’ll be getting my dsi xl soon (after my cr-48 chrome os notebook!!!! 🙂 to replace my ds lite because i’d like the bigger screens, dsiware, and the red cover (with mario icons!) so it’s easier to find among the rest of my black electronics and furniture. lol
