Tepig= A take on the word, “tepid”(mild), but replaced by, “pig” at the end.
Oshawott=Ocelot, but the “ce” was replaced by a “sha” because of the word “shell”.

Actually, Oshawott is not a corruption of the word ocelet (and tbh it wouldn’t even make sense).
Oshawott (pronounced Oh-sha-watt) is Ocean, SHell, Water, and OTTer put together.
It could also be “Ocean water” corrupted into a single word.

Tepid is actually a term for slightly heated water. The name makes sense, considering that the final form can learn Boiling Water, which IIRC is the only fire Pokemon to learn a water type move outside of Hidden Power.

There were only two things I wanted to see in the parade. Big Time Rush (I like their music, sue me) and these floats. How convenient that they were one after the other XD
I don’t expect them to really know what they’re talking about with Pokemon, but for some reason I can’t stand when people say “Pokemon characters”.

when the parade started,i went super crazy,waiting for reshiram and zekrom,along with my favorite,pikachu.i love both reshiram and zekrom,i hav both,in shiny form,super powerful.i also have a female shiny pikachu with the lightning rod ability
but,this parade hauled a-hole!!! all day,i was worried that i would go and done near pee myself!!just waiting for all 3 of the pokemon
also,can anyone come up with good moveset for a lightning rod pikachu.if u have a good set,let me know

Went to the shops today scoutin for some new games, was about to buy it, but quickly went to IGN for a review. I know some reviews don’t always mean games are bad, since it’s the writers opinion, but they said everything is great but the controls aren’t precise and stuff
