June 2012 CoroCoro RUMORS!
These are RUMORS. Usual disclaimer of “don’t believe it until proven true and don’t spread it as confirmed information” 
Now hiding rumors within spoiler tags to make sure people realize that this is not factual information. Lots of GameFAQs members complain about my site passing off false information, but I have serious doubts about how much attention they’re paying to these little headers :p
Pokejungle net is unique in that we allow the West a taste of what is going on in the mother land of Pokémon, which otherwise it would not easily have access too. We do not hold back information from you in fear of losing reputation, we simply translate the rumours and let you guys decide. Our way of doing things have allowed us to be the first to break many major news stories in the past, and no doubt even more in the future! We are simulating the native Pokémon Fan’s experience for you all!
And so without further adieu, these rumors are from a 2ch user claiming they saw a copy of CoroCoro.
Hope we get the scans sooner rather than later, but we’re a few days off.

The Tributes Have Been Chosen, The Jungle Games Commence!
The staff and I have poured over more than 40 applications and we’re ready to announce the chosen 13. We ended up having to make an extra spot because we were so impressed by some of the work that people put into these. I’d like to really really stress that we appreciated each and every application we received and all were read (and rated) by each of the staff members of our news team (myself, Ozy, Dae, Kriff, and NL). Those scores then determined the top 13 applications for the contest to see who would become the next pokejungle staffer. If you didn’t get picked (and this would be the majority of people who sent in an application) it does not mean we didn’t like what you wrote or we didn’t think you’d be a good member of our team. In a lot of cases it came down to grammatical errors or spelling mistakes which lowered scores.

Now that we’ve determined the “tributes” for The Jungle Games you’ll be seeing weekly challenges from them. This first challenge is scheduled to be posted Thursday and will have to do with something from the past When we post the participants’ pieces there will be no names and a poll for you to select the top articles (max of 6). You may feel free to praise and criticize, but any comments that aren’t constructive or are immature will not be permitted. We do however encourage a lot of feedback! This is how you guys can determine how the site grows and what you want to see out of it. The eliminations are not determined solely by the reader feedback, but will definitely play a large role in our decision.
Much appreciation to all participants who took the time to fill out an application. It really means so much to me that people out there want to help improve the site and be a part of it. I already feel like the people who regularly comment here are a core part of what pokejungle.net is all about and I’d encourage anyone who really wants to help out to both comment and also use the contact form to send us news tips (I really love those!)

5/6 Pokémon Smash Live Coverage (Finished)
Pokémon Smash starts in t-minus 3 minutes and we’re here with live coverage of anything of interest! Probably no new Pokémon Black 2 / White 2 information today 
Hoping the preview for next week will have something juicy!

Pokémon Global Link Getting an Upgrade!
It has been announced that the PGL will be going down June 5th through June 21st while they perform the upgrade. You can see a small preview of the new design in the picture above, looks fairly similar with a few minor changes. There will be a new area in the Dream World called “Cool Hole“, confirming that Black 2 and White 2 will also be able to connect.
There’s also a new “Report” page which allows you to see different statistics. Make sure to wake up your Pokémon before the maintenance starts, if you don’t you won’t be able to remove them from the Dream World until the site re-opens. Also, Berries left in the Dream World will now be “absorbed” and disappear if you don’t log in for over 100 days. Scary
