PokéPark Kanto, a Pokémon-themed space within Tokyo’s Yomiuriland Amusement Park, opened on February 5, giving fans a chance to walk into the Pokémon world. It features two areas to explore, Sedge Town and the Pokémon Forest.
What is PokéPark Kanto?
The main draw of PokéPark Kanto is being able to feel like you entered the Pokémon world and are walking through a town and forest area. There are many Pokémon statues to see and small details to search for. Sedge Town features a Pokémon Center, Poké Mart and Pokémon Gym to visit and is very reminiscent of a typical town found in the Kanto region.

There are also two rides: Pika Pika Paradise, a Pikachu-themed aerial carousel-style ride, and Vee Vee Voyage, a traditional carousel featuring Eevee and its evolutions. Both require an additional ticket to ride.

There’s also a live show held at the Gym which will be Pika Pika Sparks! until April 30. Entry requires a ticket.

How to buy tickets for PokéPark Kanto
Buying tickets can be done through the attraction’s official site, although the franchise’s popularity has resulted in them selling out all the way through early April, 2026.
There are a total of three ticket types which can vary in price based on the day they’re being purchased for (official details here):
- Town Pass (~$30-35): Allows access to Sedge Town, the park’s city area
- Trainer’s Pass (~$50~60): Allows access to Sedge Town and a single entry to the Pokémon Forest
- Ace Trainer’s Pass (~$90-105): Allows free access to both the Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town. Also includes a single use of the priority lane for rides and other benefits
What you’d most like to do or see should be considered when buying a ticket if multiple options are available.
