A new game, new Mega Evolutions and even new DLC for a game that hasn’t even been released yet — today’s Nintendo Direct certainly had a lot for Pokémon fans!
Pokémon Pokopia announced
Players will take on the role of a Ditto disguised as a human to build and rejuvenate a voxel island. You’ll be able to befriend Pokémon and learn their skills. It will be released in 2026.
New Pokémon Legends: Z-A information revealed
Three new Mega Evolutions coming in Pokémon Legends: Z-A were revealed in today’s Nintendo Direct: Mega Chesnaught, Mega Delphox and Mega Greninja! We’ve updated our New Mega Evolutions page to include them.

The Mega Stones to Mega Evolve Chesnaught, Delphox and Greninja will be given as rewards for participating in the first three seasons of the ranked Z-A Battle Club.
Pokémon HOME support for Legends: Z-A will be coming in 2026 and will allow select Pokémon from previous titles to be transferred to the game. However, any Pokémon transferred to Legends: Z-A “The official site has noted that “will no longer be able to transfer it to previous video games in the Pokémon series.” No further details on why this stipulation exists has been revealed.
Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The upcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A will be getting an optional paid DLC pack called Mega Dimension. The official description reads:
Players can look forward to expanding their Lumiose City adventures with the Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, compatible with both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. The new downloadable content will allow Trainers to continue their story with Team MZ after completing the main story of Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
The Mischief Pokémon, Hoopa, seems to hold the key to Mega Dimension’s story. This Mythical Pokémon can warp space using the rings on its horns and around its body. These loops are stretchable and can form holes inside them leading to far-off places. Spatial distortions have also appeared in Lumiose, giving fans even more to discover throughout the city.
The DLC will introduce two different Mega Evolutions for Raichu, Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y!
