Players have earned the Shiny Chi-Yu Mystery Gift in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Shiny Chi-Yu Tera Raid Battles have been ongoing since September 2 and players needed to beat it at least 1 million times collectively to earn the Pokémon as a downloadable Mystery Gift in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet — and we’ve just gotten confirmation that the 1 million victories have been exceeded! Chi-Yu has been taken down over 1.8 million times as of Monday, September 8.

The Mystery Gift will be distributed on Thursday, September 18, one week from today. The Chi-Yu Tera Raid Battles, which don’t allow you to catch Chi-Yu but do have valuable rewards, will end on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 4:59 p.m. PDT.

The Mass Outbreak event will also end then, so if you’re looking to catch Shiny Charcadet, Vulpix or Numel, make sure to hunt before then!

Other Shiny Pokémon can be claimed via Mystery Gift

Shiny Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao and Ting-Lu are already available via the Mystery Gift function, just choose to claim via Internet in Scarlet and Violet!
