Mega Dragonite revealed
Mega Dragonite is the first new Mega Evolution to be revealed for Legends: Z-A and is a Dragon/Flying type Pokémon.
For Mega Dragonite, ending a Pokémon match quickly is an act of kindness toward its opponent. Its kindhearted nature gets amplified when it Mega Evolves, and it launches powerful attacks at its opponent with a smile. At the same time, if it senses someone in trouble, it has the kindness to instantly rush to their aid—even if it’s in the middle of an intense battle.
Its design incorporates aspects of Dragonair’s such as the wings on its head and the pearl on its tail.
Gameplay reveals for Legends: Z-A
In Lumiose City there’s a strange phenomenon known as Rogue Mega Evolution that you’ll need to investigate — wild Pokémon have been Mega Evolving on their own. Players can pacify these Pokémon to earn Mega Stones.
Trainer customization is back, which makes sense since the original games set in the Kalos region introduced the feature, and both hair and clothing options were previewed in today’s trailer.
Using their Rotom Phone, players will be able to take photos of themselves and their Pokémon in the game.
Powerful Alpha Pokémon will also be returning and will chase and attack players if they notice you.
New characters to meet in Lumiose City
The player will join Team MZ, dedicated to keeping Lumiose City peaceful, and battle alongside Lida and Naveen. Lida is an aspiring dancer, while Naveen is a designer.
Emma, first seen in Pokémon X and Y, is a detective in Lumiose City. You can help her find missing Pokémon and items to help the people of the city.
Mable is the acting director of the Pokémon Research Lab and will need your help to register Pokémon to your Pokédex. You can earn TMs and other rewards from her.
Corbeau is the boss of the Rust Syndicate and a strong trainer you’ll face in the Z-A Royale. He is a Poison-type Pokémon specialist.
