The Pokémon storage app Pokémon HOME has been updated to version 3.2.2 on iOS and Android and brings some new features and the addition of a new Pokémon distribution!
New Pokémon HOME features
Two small additions have been made to Pokémon HOME:
- A Pokémon Guidebook has been added which displays information about a Pokémon, what games it can be found in and related media such as YouTube videos from official Pokémon channels
- Mystery Gifts can now be received through NFC Tags using wireless near-field communication technology
How to receive a Shiny Meloetta in Pokémon HOME
Fans can now receive a Shiny Meloetta, the first time it has ever been available to fans, if they have completed Paldea, Kitakami and Blueberry Academy Pokédexes in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet and their DLC. Quite a nice reward for players who put in the effort to complete all of the Pokédexes!
An important note about completing your Pokédexes: the Pokémon must have been captured in Scarlet or Violet natively and not just deposited from HOME into the game.
Wondering how to change Meloetta from its normal Aria Forme to its Pirouette Forme? It needs to use the move Relic Song during battle, which will trigger it to change forms. This will only last until it is switched out or the battle ends. It cannot remain in its Pirouette Forme outside of battle.
Let us know in the comments if you have already completed your Pokédexes in Scarlet and Violet or if this just may be enough motivation to do that! Don’t forget to also join our Discord server for more Pokémon discussions.
