Pokémon takes aim at Palworld in new lawsuit

The Pokémon Company and Nintendo have filed a lawsuit for infringement of patent rights against Palworld developer Pocketpair in Tokyo today. They claim that the game “infringes multiple patent rights” and are seeking an injunction and compensation for damages.

Ultimately, this case may have a big impact on the future of Palworld and its developer. As of this moment, Pocketpair has not publicly responded to news of the lawsuit.
