The upcoming mobile game Pokémon TCG Pocket, developed by both Creatures Inc., the original developers of the Pokémon TCG, and DeNA Co., Ltd, is now available for pre-registration on Google Play and iOS at the links below:

- iOS App Store: Pokémon TCG Pocket
Pre-registering for an app means that it will be downloaded to your device as soon as it is released. The App Store has an ‘expected’ release date of October 31, 2024, but it is unknown if that is a placeholder date.
You may also recognize DeNA Co., Ltd as the developers behind the mobile title Pokémon Masters EX, which is nearing its 5th anniversary celebration!
Latest TCG Pocket trailer reveals new features, digital cards
The official Japanese Pokémon YouTube channel has posted a new look at TCG Pocket and the trailer shows off several new features. These are inferred from the trailer but may not be fully accurate until the game is out:
- It appears players can collect play mats
- Display favorite cards
- Get in-game achievement for card collection milestones
The first set of cards, Genetic Apex, will feature 226 cards and an additional 60 secret rares.
