The closing ceremony at the 2024 Pokémon World Championships is when the Pokémon Company has said it will share the latest updates about the franchise and we’re covering all the news in the post below.
Pokémon announcement coverage
We’ll be updating the list below with news that is revealed:
- Pokémon GO will be adding Dynamax battles, as previously teased
- Morpeko will be debuting in Pokémon GO and can change form in battle with a charged attack
- Pokémon UNITE will be adding Armarouge, Darkrai and as playable Pokémon
- Pokémon TCG Pocket will be released on October 30 (see our previous post for pre-registration links)
- The 2025 Pokémon World Championships will be held in Anaheim, California and the 2026 Championships will be held in San Francisco
And those are the announcements! Unfortunately, no news about Pokémon Legends: Z-A or other mainline titles. But we’ve included the individual trailers below.
