Twitch rewards and more revealed for the 2024 Pokémon World Championships

The Pokémon World Championships begin August 16 in Honolulu, Hawaii, and new information has been released about what fans can expect! Luckily, there are some fun things to look forward to even if you can’t make it to Hawaii.

Looking to receive these rewards? Check out our new post here!

Follow the action on Twitch and get code rewards

Codes for three different rewards will be given out during Twitch streams of the Pokémon World Championships. These will not be single use, so technically once the codes are published (we’ll update this post!), you’ll be able to get and redeem them without actually having to watch anything. That being said, we do encourage people to check out the Pokémon World Championship streams and see top-tier players battle it out!

The rewards that will be distributed are as follows:

  • In Pokémon TCG Live, a code to receive a Pecharunt ex illustration rare will be given out
  • In Pokémon GO, players can redeem a code for Sableye research
  • In Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, a Mystery Gift code for a Sylveon based on Pokémon Video Game World Champion Tomoya Ogawa’s

Players can also participate in the Fantasy Team Contest from home and compete for prizes!

In-person activities

For fans lucky enough to be in Honolulu, there are a variety of fun things to do and see!

Public activities:

  • Worlds 2024 drone show on August 15, 17 and 18 at 8 PM
  • Pokémon Play Lab for those looking to learn how to play
  • Pokémon Worlds Trainer Town which has a variety of activities
  • Shadowless Podcast Live with RealBreakingNate, SuperDuperDani, and Jordan Fringe on August 15 and 16

For ticket holders, there are animation screenings, a trading corner, a Pokémon World Championships History Museum and more.

A snorkeling Pikachu comes to Pokémon GO
