The next adventure in the Legends universe was announced during today’s Pokémon Presents held for Pokémon Day. Called Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A, the game will be set in the Kalos region!
What is Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A about?
While not much has been revealed about LEGENDS Z-A, we know that the game will be set entirely in Lumiose City in the Kalos region, a place first visited in the Nintendo DS titles Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.
The marketing materials have teased an ‘urban development plan’ with a vision of Pokémon and people sharing a ‘beautiful coexistence’. This is quite different than Pokémon LEGENDS Arceus which depicted a world in which Pokémon were still seen as dangerous.
When will LEGENDS Z-A be released?
Currently, it is slated for a global simultaneous launch in 2025 on the Nintendo Swich. An exact date will be announced closer to its release.
