Pokémon reveals new products and upcoming plans for Halloween

The Pokémon Company has shared some initial details about its plans for Halloween this year, including something you can hand to trick-or-treaters that isn’t loaded with sugar: Pokémon cards!

Pokémon TCG: Trick or Trade details

The Pokémon TCG: Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle is a bag of 40 mini booster packs which contain three cards and feature spooky Pokémon like Zubat, Gengar, Pumpkaboo, Mimikyu and Polteageist. Each card in this set features a Pikachu jack-o’-lantern mark, similar to the 25th anniversary graphic for that set. The bundle launches on September 1 at participating retailers.

Upcoming Halloween events and merchandise

The company has also announced that a new interactive website will be launching in early September that will serve as a Halloween hub to keep fans updated on both Pokémon merchandise and activities. As far as upcoming products go, Pokémon promises a “new Halloween product collection, spanning home décor, plush, collectibles and more from Pokémon Center,” but we’ll have to wait and see exactly what that will entail!
