Galarian Beginnings Results
After a week of voting, fans have decided their top pick from the three Galarian Starter Pokémon. We hosted a place to vote on our Discord server for the first time and the results there showed an easy win for Sobble. However, over on Twitter the voters showed a different story entirely.
So, without further delay the results of the Galar Round are as follows…

Note: figures and percentages are rounded-up
Grookey seems to have been equally popular on both Twitter and Discord, while Scorbunny was most popular on Twitter and Sobble was most popular on Discord. But, the totalled numbers mean that Scorbunny will be the Galarian Starter Pokémon heading into the next round!
The Contenders
This time Starter Showdown will be split across 9 rounds of voting: one round for each region, with Kanto receiving an additional round for the Let’s Go games. The rounds will be as follows:
- Galar Round:🥇 Scorbunny, 🥈 Sobble, 🥉 Grookey
- Alola Round: Rowlet, Popplio and Litten
- Kalos Round: Chespin, Froakie and Fennekin
- Unova Round: Snivy, Oshawott and Tepig
- Sinnoh Round: Turtwig, Piplup and Chimchar
- Hoenn Round: Treecko, Mudkip and Torchic
- Johto Round: Chikorita, Totodile and Cyndaquil
- Kanto Round I: Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander
- Kanto Round II: Pikachu and Eevee
Alola Round Voting
It’s time for the second round of Starter Showdown: Clash! This time we’re jetting off to Alola, home of Z-Moves and the spectacular appearances of the mysterious Ultra Beasts. The Alola region made its debut appearance in Pokémon Sun & Moon in 2016 and with it came the region’s three starter Pokémon…
The Alolan set of starters brought something new to the table this time: Rowlet the Grass-type Grass Quill Pokémon was the first starter Pokémon to evolve into a part Ghost-type, Litten the Fire-type Fire Cat Pokémon didn’t evolve into a part Fighting-type Pokémon and Popplio the Water-type Sea Lion Pokémon is the only starter Pokémon to evolve into a part Fairy-type.
So there’s the three you’ll be choosing between this time. Cast your votes in the Twitter poll below (you will need an account to do so) or visit the PokéJungle Discord server and head to the #starter-showdown channel to vote and limited access to roles and special channels to discuss your pick.
