Today is the day folks! The first Pokémon Direct of 2020 has been released and we’re happy to provide a place for all our readers to watch and discuss the latest Pokémon news.

- The Isle of Armour will be released in June 2020

- The Isle of Armour is a new location featuring many different locales

- Kubfu is a Fighting-type legendary Pokémon and is entrusted to the Trainer. It can evolve into Urshifu, a Pokémon that that has two different fighting style: Single Strike or Rapid Strike Style. It also has a Gigatnamax form for each style
- New fashion items will be available I both expansions
- The Crown Tundra is a new location set on the theme of exploration
- Pokémon previously unavailable in the Galar region will be available
- Players will be made leader of an exploration team in the tundra
- Players will be able to explore Pokémon raid den and serves as a new co-op mechanic that enables old and new legendary Pokémon to appear
- Calyrex is a Psychic/Grass type Pokémon
- The new areas will contain over 200 Pokémon
- Alongside the new areas, updates for Pokémon Sword & Shield will be released
- Pokémon Home is planned to launch in February 2020
- Gigantamax Coalossal, Flapple, Appletun Lapras have increased spawn chances starting today in the Wild Area
- Starting today Galarian Slowpoke will be available to catch in Sword & Shield. This Slowpoke will be able to evolve into Slowbro in The Isle of Armour and Slowking in The Crown Tundra
- The latest update for Pokémon Sword & Shield and the Mystery Dungeon DX demo is now available
