Like previous years, Nintendo is opting for a pre-recorded Direct as opposed to the industry-standard live presentation – which will uploaded to Nintendo’s official YouTube channel at 9am PDT – along with a stream of Treehouse Live throughout the day!

Pokémon in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
- Every single playable Pokémon fighter from the previous Super Smash Bros. games will be returning for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: Pokémon Trainer, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Pichu, Lucario, and Greninja
- The Pokémon Trainer fighter’s Pokémon no longer get fatigued – allowing you to play as one Pokémon the entire round
- The Saffron City and Prism Tower stages return to Ultimate
- Pikachu Libre is confirmed as an alternate skin for Pikachu
- Leaf, the female protagonist from FRLG, is confirmed as an alternate skin for the Pokémon Trainer
- The Following Pokémon have been confirmed as Poké Ball Pokémon:
- Bewear, Alolan Vulpix, Alolan Raichu, Solgaleo, Lunala, Scizor, Abra, Deoxys, Abomasnow, Kyogre, Suicune, Latios, Latias, Eevee, Mew, Entei, and Darkrai
