This Week’s Big Stories
Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Let’s Go, Eevee!
- It’s been officially confirmed that the heavily anticipated Nintendo Switch titles will be playable at E3! No other details about the play experience have been revealed regarding its content or if it will be playable at other locations outside of E3
- The Pokémon Company has reiterated that motion controls are used exclusively to capture Pokémon – whether in docked or handheld mode. Capture is done in the former by flicking the JoyCons, while in handhend you can use the Switch’s gyroscope to move the Switch around to aim; pressing the A button to throw a Pokéball
Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
- A new Global Mission is underway! Players have until June 18th to spend as many coins in the Festival Plaza, with the goal to each 5,000,000 coins spent. If the mission is a success, then all participants will receive 2,000 FC (4,000 FC if linked to the Global Link). However if it ends in failure 1,000 FC will only be given instead (2,000 FC if linked to the Global Link)
- Quick reminder that registration for the June 2018 International Challenge Registration for the next Battle Competition is available until June 14th! The actual battles will run from June 15th through the 17th, with all participating trainers receiving 50 BP
Pokémon GO
- Two special new T-Shirts are available in Pokémon GO! They both cost 250 Coins and feature Mew, as well as Latios and Latias. The former is only available after you’ve captured Mew through Professor Willow’s research tasks
Pokémon Shuffle
- The following stages are all available until June 12th:
- A Pokémon Safari featuring Original Cap Pikachu, Hoenn Cap Pikachu, Sinnoh Cap Pikachu, Unova Cap Pikachu, Kalos Cap Pikachu, Alola Cap Pikachu, Pikachu (Happy), Pikachu (Surprised), Pikachu (Fired Up), and Pikachu (Smiling)
- The Ultra Challenge Stage against Lunala
- The Great Challenge Stages consist of Beedrill, Electivire, Snivy (Winking), Shiny Diancie & Bruxish
- This week’s Daily Pokémon stages are Seviper, Wynaut, Torkoal, Zangoose & Luvdisc
- The One Chance Per Day stage features Pinsir
- A Competitive Stage against Mega Beedrill
