The Oha Suta trailer showed Ash meeting Pikachu for the first time and working to bond with it, while Ho-oh flew overhead. Not too much yet, but the movie will definitely look back at the beginning of the series.

Not really. Characters can grow up and still be the focus of the show. Heck if they always wanted to keep the main character a kid, they could have ash become more of a mentor(like he was to may) to the new protagonist and eventually even age him enough enough that his child would become the new protagonist. Ash can always be part of the show, seeing him eventually reach his dreams, and then take a supporting role when that’s done. Its happened before, and people have enjoyed it enough.

Yeah. I’m a big fan of the Manga so nothings going to be new for me, but I love hearing Sabat in a leading role again and just seeing him have so much fun with it. Haven’t seen if we know how long the season is, but I’m really oping we get a 26 episode season so we can get to see “The Fight”. That one fight that nobody would dare spoil but will be one of the most amazing things to animation in a very long time.

The first season is only 13 episodes and has been dubbed in English, so it’s relatively easy to marathon. Its a good comedic/action series. Lots of fun characters, and its a series that loves to subvert tropes.

I really can’t recommend it enough. Its a bit of a slower start since the first season is only about the first 20 chapters of the manga, but season two is when things really start picking up and doesn’t hold back on saying the world can be a pretty messed up place.

I love how the animation is still somewhat true to the original Pokemon series, like when you look at Ash, it looks so similar to his original design.
So, Breath of the Wild is officially shipping and will arrive here on Friday. The Switch hasn’t shipped yet, but following past trends it will probably happen late tonight or early tomorrow morning. I don’t really care about the accessories right now: if I just get those two things, I will have the pure Nintendo experience I’m hoping for. Amazon has a bunch of those Breath of the Wild amiibo for pre-order but I’m not going to get those yet. I just want the game.
In completely unrelated news, I decided today that I’ve just about completed my “challenge” of growing out my hair for one whole year, so I think I might get it cut short again this weekend. It really has been a fascinating experience to see how people’s reactions and expectations about me have changed (sometimes for the worse) for simply not doing this one thing, although nothing significant really changed at all. I consider it the greatest psychological experiment of my life thus far.

Emboar is going to have Heat Crash or Blast Burn, Flamethrower, Wild Charge/Head Smash, and Hammer Arm, while Galvantula will have Signal Beam, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, and Electro Ball. Somewhat limited in moves they can learn at the moment, but I’ve gone through this E4 in the past and they’re pretty easy for the most part.

So I am still super excited about BoTW but I got Horizon Zero Dawn today and its one of the best games I have ever played in my entire life. If you love a good story this one is for you. I hope BoTW rivals it in terms of story

Y’all act so surprised that BotW is getting all these positive reviews, dont be. Nintendo revamped the formula and made it an open world game. Those who’ve played recent open worlds like The Witcher 3, Fallout 4 and Final Fantasy XV knew BotW wouldn’t fall behind, its because open world gaming is the new standard. Horizon: Zero Dawn is another example, a game thats been worked at for over 6 years.

Remember Pokémon Origins? They showed Red’s story as in the games but in the end, added new content with the appearance of Mega-Zard X to promote XY (and Mega Evolution). This movie is looking to be the same. They showed pretty much the entire first episode in this trailer alone and already showed a difference in the story with the Ho-oh part. To me, it’s obvious it will feature an alternate story to promote something else. My bet is it’s something to do with Necrozma (as indicated by the next 2 japanese TCG sets, which come out 1 month before the movie and feature Ho-oh and Necrozma). Either way, there’s definitely more to this than what they’re showing.

That’s actually kind of a neat concept how each death in a video game is sort of erased from the canon of the story as in, when Mega Man dies, he doesnt actually die, it is sorta like it goes back and the story goes “wait no that didnt happen” and you succeed and the story goes on. Ok mostly the big thing is because the region is pretty cold give them kind of heavier clothing (kind of like Platinum did to Dawn and Lucas) and cause its based on Germany make them pale skinned (hair and eye color can be anything) and thats mostly it the rest is to your imagination

Paint Tool SAI. Basically a lighter version of Photoshop and its free if you know where to look.

Why is it all the advertising for Switch has been the rubbish looking party games? There was a feature on a morning tv show here and it was just a cow milking game that looked boring. They should be fronting it with actual good games like BotW imo.
I completely agree. They did so well with the Superbowl commercial, but now all the TV commercials are just 1-2-switch. It’s one of the mistakes they made with the Wii U, and I’m sad they’re repeating it.

Save files are stored onto the console’s memory but cant be copied to MicroSD cards. Huge mistake by Nintendo, once more people get wiff of this it might decline sales numbers

Pretty sure its a deliberate choice by Nintendo because the Switch’s hardware could easily handle it, the Wii U could as well. What their motivation behind this is though, i dont know.

like I managed to hang in there for a month with my pair but I had to let them go so my mom got me these really cheap 5 dollar ones because she was out and I texted her.
So they were super cheap and horrible sound quality. And no shit.. out of the box they had that exact same issue. The plug had to be at a certain angle OUT OF THE BOX. Then that night I tried to use them and the part that goes in your ear had completely come off from the rest of the bud and it stopped working.
Luckily my girlfriend is awesome and had some extra apple ones so now I have those

Well, this is it. The end of a LONG journey that’s been going on since 2014, when people first began voicing their opinion that Nintendo should retire the Wii U and accept its failure. We were then told 2 years ago this month that Nintendo’s new system would be “NX” and have a new gaming concept. After many months of subpar Nintendo releases, an entire year of speculation about when the NX would be revealed, and many MANY rumors, we are here, on the cusp of March 3, 2017. The summation of all of our hopes and dreams for Nintendo for the past quarter of my life begins very soon. We’ve all grown as people while waiting for Nintendo to get back to speed with the potential we all know they have, and this is how it will happen. My Switch hasn’t shipped yet so I’m not yet sure if I’ll be able to play tomorrow, but I hope everyone has the experience they deserve for being unbelievably patient for the past few years. /dramaticspeech

So I’ve been tracking my switch’s shipping, and its been a little weird. It went to the UPS dispatch center in Ohio, to Buffalo, NY(which you have to go through my home city to reach it, and even then it’s like an hour and a half drive past my home city) and still being promised to be here tomorrow.
Also in Switch news, know that your saves aren’t actually saved to the micro SD card in the system, but some sort of internal memory built into the switch itself. Meaning that all saves are locked to your individual switch and not your copy of the game and it’ll be awhile before someone finds a way to mod it to allow saves to the SD card.
Went to GS first to get the game and pro controller, currently waiting in line at BB. They’re moving like 2 people every five minutes, and there’s like 35 people in line. Ugh.

Something is seriously wrong, I’ve never had an Amazon delivery “preparing for shipment” for this long. It still says it’s being delivered today as well! I’m at a complete loss now, I have no idea.
I think that happened to me, but it ended up being delayed anyway.

I just saw a post on Reddit saying that Amazon didn’t update the guy’s status for shipment and guaranteed a release day delivery anyway.
