It seems like that too, but it goes back to normal after you beat the “adaptation” stage. Also, it only usually just adjusts to the lead.

You will get an “adaptation” stage once in a while, though. So your lead will have the occasional bad matchup, but as long as you have a switch-in that can cover for it, you should be fine.
You know how people saw the Battle Maison in ORAS trailer?
Well maybe they switched the Battle Frontier Facility Battle Tower to Battle Maison because they are basically the same thing but with different titles also they might want the Maison in ORAS so you can connect between XY and ORAS another way

I’m shifting priorities starting now. That’s my announcement.
What do I mean by that? And why? Well, first the why.
Going into my third year as an engineering student, the lab session become harder and require more effort, in addition to the overall increase in work pressure in the other courses. Since I currently have what is called ‘distinction’ and since I want to up it to a ‘grand distinction’, I need to put considerable amount of hours into my education. But it’s the second most important thing that matters in life, after having good friends. So I’m going all-in. In addition, I am now elected as a higher representative in the student council, which eats up additional time (although that should better once the year settles in). I’ve also decided I want to take up piano, which means I have to take up musical theory lessons and my remaining free time that I didn’t use for studying is now taken up by having to practice :). I had to drop archery as a result however, but I hardly had the time anyway to go practicing much.
So university + friends + student council + music leaves my pretty exhausted and I feel a much smaller need for the internet. Most of the time I’m using my laptop is when I’m doing homework or chatting to friends, I hardly keep up with the gaming news anymore. And since I’m living on my own and had some pretty big expenses in the past year (looking at you piano and London holiday), I need to save my money a bit so that means no games for me anymore except Pokémon ORAS. Mostly because I don’t have the time to play them and not playing them is a waste of money imho.
Some of you may also have noticed to my writing output was horrible. And I know that. I have around 20+ unfinished opinion articles lying around on my harddrive, many of them for PJM (some of those are actually nearly finished, only requiring formatting editing) and I can’t put it together to be able to finish them. I’m sorry :(.
What I need to do now is stepping back a bit and trying to get everything on rails in my life. Next year should be a much quieter year in school and other stuff since I only need to do half of my remaining year. But I can’t promise to write any articles any more and I can’t moderate the comments like I used to. As much as I want, I don’t have much access to my pc and when I do I’m usually tired and have to do other work. But I won’t quit. I can’t quit. I love you guys too much, even the ones who hate me. So I will remain mostly behind the scenes talking to moving and ken and once I feel better I’ll be back in full force. But know that I really can’t promise anything. I hope everyone understands. If you ever need me, use the Chespin signal and I’ll read your message, but there might be a few days waiting for a reply :). Lovies everyone!
