Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

  • The Special Battle rules for Season 10 are here! Season 10 will run from May 15th to July 10th, 2018 using both Pokémon Sun & Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon (although the rankings are separate). The rules are pretty standard for a Double Battle: 10 minute battles, 60 seconds per turn, no repeat hold items, Pokémon will all be set to Level 50, and you can only choose 4 out of the 6 Pokémon on your team to participate. The big change is that these Double Battles will also be Inverse Battles, meaning the type chart is completely flipped. Electric-type moves will be super effective against Ground-types, for example
    • Pokémon Restrictions: Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, Magearna, and Marshadow cannot be used

  • Niantic has revealed revealed some new details for this year’s Pokémon GO Fest! Taking place at Lincoln Park, Chicago the 1.8 mile walk will allow trainers to encounter various Pokémon from several different biomes – including rare Torkoal and Unown spawns! Go Fest will also feature special Research Tasks that promise to give exciting rewards!
