I’ll definitely give you that the German names for the player-characters was an odd and not-so-great choice in my opinion. The rest didn’t bother me very much, but I see what you’re saying.

How would you think that Sudowoodo is Gen 4? there was an entire subquest to get the pail in Gold and Silver so you could get past the Sudowoodo!

Seriously.. most of the old-poke evolutions we received in Gen 4, we could have gotten additional ones since Gen II. I mean, they aren’t even useful on Little Cup tournaments..

Treehouse I know is great. Whatever team specifically did Black and White were clearly amateurs. They had characters say things like “woooooow” with all those o’s in there, a trait that no Pokemon game ever had because it looks stupid and immature. The characters’ names were also awful in some cases, most notably “Grimsley” and “Stu Deeoh” in BW2.

Hm, I never noticed B/W’s translation being poor quality. Also, I would definitely not say that in-house translating is a bad thing; look up the Nintendo Treehouse sometime, those people are amazingly hard workers and overall one of the most elite localization teams in the entire world.

I pre-ordered Diamond and Pearl from them, and when I went to pick them up they had only ordered three Diamonds. I had to go to the GameStop next door to get my Diamond with the refund I got from Target.
