In reply to Green. They'd be better off having a different ash for every region. Ultimately I think the solution will be to just give Ash a friend with an Alolan Pikachu so they can have pari battles.

Amoongus isn’t gross, it’s just grumpy.

I recommend you have a look at Mushroom Men: Spore Wars, quite dark for a game featuring mushrooms.
